this game looks incredible... when tony hawk first released their videos everyone hated it... then when the game release or the "demo" came out, everyone loved it.... now this game they released their first gameplay video and everyone loves it so imagine when a demo comes out... ;)

I personally think the older tony hawk games were great such as thug thug2 and thaw but not they seem to be more worried about looking as close to real life as possible instead of the looks of the tricks. I hope that EA Skate can step it up over the recent project 8 game that disappointed many. Pray that this one will be a great game

Personlly, I LOVE TONY HAWK games, yes grinding on powerlines isnt realistic but its fun. But daim! Does this game look fucking spectacular, I know for sure if i ever get my next-gen system IAM GETTING THIS GAME. Cant wait to play it. and about the kickflip.. i would say it wasnt 'that' high because he had a jump. I wonder how the balancing will work.

You really think so? Perhaps you'd enjoy some powerline grinds followed by a triple backflip that then lands in manual and goes for the 500 ft? This isn't Tony Hawk and to be frank a lot of fans hoping for a game more true to the culture of skateboarding have a lot to look forward to with this project.

wow, holy fuck did i say i didnt want realism? Realism is exactly what i was looking for in a game you stupid cunt, now tell me, in the beginning when he does the nosegrind to tailslide, look how high he pops out of hte nosegrind, and his board doesnt even pop. The character movements look blocky and not smooth, IMO EA made the game sound way better than it looks (like always) so, dont make asumptions you stupid cunt, because im still getting this game.

About the animations, that's as good as it will get. They use the usual algorithms for blending highres mocap animations.

You'll have to accept that there's always a number of compromises between believability and complexity in every game. You've just stumbled upon one.
