Dude, you still don't get it. I know your point; there were history on old school muscle cars. They won back then. I saw the video of the Ferrari vs old school Challenger and all I saw was the Challenger going with the Ferrari on a straight away. The track was not a road course but a high speed ring. Whatever the case maybe, the Challenger is a kick ass car, but I don't expect it to grip like a ZR-1 or a Viper ACR.
deadissu3, most muscle cars are meant for straight line. You don't see them participating in circuit racing or time attack laps unless it's the modern ZR1 or Viper ACR.
@350z33hr ANY muscle car can be tuned for a road course...you have no idea what you're talking about. Stick to your gay little 350z videos, you have no place here.
@DeAdiSSu3 What an idiot. Yea, let me see an old school muscle car go up against a ZR1 or a Viper ACR in a road coarse. Who the f*ck was talking about a Z? You stupid ass can't comprehend my post. You're all over the map. Just because it has massive meat on the tire, it doesn't mean it can handle. Do you see a video of this car in a road course? You have no place in Youtube f***in' douchebag!
@350z33hr Again, plenty of old/new muscle out there on road courses, not JUST ACR / ZR1. Search "Hemi Challenger vs. Ferrari". That's a home-built 1970 Challenger. What about the old GT40, winning Le Mans four years straight? Then there's the new Mustang GT and Boss 302, beating cars worth 2, 3, even 4 times as much. Road Runners only weigh a hundred pounds more than a new Mustang GT, most of the old stuff weighed less! Duster/Dart cuda/barracuda firebird/camaro/TA chevelle chally nova stangs...
@350z33hr What do you mean "no control"? Did you blink when he showed the massive amount of rubber under the car? It obviously has modern suspension that can handle power and torque too, it was a purpose-built performance classic....
So rumor is that "Hammer" made 744hp with the procharged 500. That true? I plan to build a procharged 500 just wondering what a ball park hp estimate would be.
Class and horse power dodge all the way new or old school don't make a difference.
