This feels very rushed (outside of the parts that were missed / misplayed), if you would slow down a bit it would sound a LOT better. A good rule of thumb is play slower than you think it should be (because your nervousness will make it faster) :) I am not disliking because I think every person who puts themselves out there is brave and it certainly wasn't miserable... come back with the version I know that you can do and I will like it.

i don't think people here are too smart which is a shame.... it sounds the way it sounds because what you're hearing is the electronic sounds the microphone has picked up.... what he's playing is actually sound waves.... see the difference?? what we hear and what he hears are different. he actually did a pretty goo job at this; just doesn't have the proper recording equipment you're used to hearing.

What you need to do is simple

you need to relax and have fun with it

if you enjoy it, it shows

and right now its not showing

take your time with it and loosen up

you're thinking way too much and that makes it extremely plastic and forced

intonation could use some work but I guess you haven't been playing the violin for very long so that's not your fault

the most important thing with music is to have fun with it

Do that, the rest will fall into place

Nice job, although you could tune your violin up before you play but, I don't know if that's just the recording screwing up the sound quality. Camcorders can be bitches to violins XD

Anyway, the stuff you need to work on are dynamics, articulation, timing and resting between phrases. Get a metronome or something and set it to like, allegro or a bit slower. That should fix part of the problem.

Either way, just practice and you'll get better (ironic, coming from someone who hates practicing :D)

@xBeccaluvluvluvux yep, just use the treble clef instead of the bass. (u kno. the top one instead of the bottom and then just skip) i've done it multiple times (started off with harp and then tried piano and now am doing violin and harp and piano.... lot's of instruments....)

I don't know about the recording equipment that you used and what it could have done with the sound but you may need a little tuning or the songs just a bit lower then it's just usually is. But It's a diffeent version and i like it!! Good job!

There are a lot of comments about how this sounds. A lot of it has to do with the recording equipment used. The sound isn't bad. Yeah, tuning could use a LITTLE work. But overall pretty good.

It's good to be able to post music on here to have other MUSICIANS give CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISIMS. But unfortunately, people like papilow202 can also post on here....

Das Handgelenkt noch etwas gerader und starrer, dann tust du dir auch leichter die Töne richtig zu greifen ;)
