  • Andro he was the best !

  • darn! why won't they dub yatterman?

  • good thing this isn't the Tekkaman that made it to the SRW games... XD

  • Tekkaman is sentai as well as Gathcaman.

    Generation Sentai:

Very first sentai (TV) Agentes Fantasmas (1964)

    Gatcaman (1972)

    Tekkaman (1975)

Goranger (1975) Very first super sentai

  • otakus de mierda como se pueden acordar de esta serie jajajja !!! esta buenisimo el opening para ser de esa epoca

  • Energy sources without the need for fuel or energy input exist ,But a few ppl make too many billions from our energy needs to let this technology be known,Go to LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM and get the blueprints for a genuine magnet motor ,Be part of the revolution!

  • seriously where can I download this series?

  • so this is the tekkaman first? then tekkaman blade.?

  • @ckaey91 Yup. Tekkaman Blade was a sort of modern day remake of the original Tekkaman.

  • Tekkaman's Kojo From Zeke & Luther!!! "TEKKAMAN KOJO"

  • also one of my favs on tatsunoko v.s capcom

  • wow so many good old anime this guy is in the tatsunoko vs capcom ultimate all-stars game for the nintendo wii it's a decent game i just bought it cause i like gatchaman ( although i knew them as g-force not the hamsters though)

  • VORUUTEKKAAAAAA!

  • Tekkkamaaaaaaan!

  • I remember watching it in movie form, in English, On Channel 69 here in Atlanta, Georgia USA. I loved watching it, but it was a pity that they never translated the rest of the saga.

    DANGER WOMAN

  • Please I am looking for this DVD box set

  • Actually Superadventures it wasn't until the 1990s and 2005 that we got Gatchaman,Samurai Pizza Cats and Karas in the US.

  • Gatchaman was first brought over to the U.S as "Battle of the Planets" in 1978, then again in re-dubbed form as "G-Force: Guardians of Space" in 1986 (the latter of which wasn't aired in the U.S until January 1995 on Cartoon Network).

I'm not sure "Samurai Pizza Cats" (or the original Japanese equivalent) are considered part of Tatsunoko's "classic '70's superheroes", which is what I'm referring to. Same goes with "Karas".

  • tatsunoko vs capcom did this first....go wii!!!......thats cool how you made the up the music and animation...are you japanese?

  • Although Time Bokan which was made in the 70s before the introduction of the Time Bokan series Yatterman which came out in 1977 came to the US as Time Fighters.

  • whoa trippy intro i used to watch "teknoman" when i was but i had no idea it was this old man theyve been making awesome anime since the 70s wow

  • I want this show, there's no torrents for it.

  • Tekkaman is freakin' epic. I'm ordering a subbed DVD.

    VOLTEKKA!

  • SPACE LANCE

  • What do they call that effect where geometric shimmers suddenly form images? That's so 70s. haha

  • moero taiyoo, kakero Tekkaman

    yami ni ugomeku Warudasutaa

kudaite hoshi-kuzu uchuu no hate ni

kirameku ginga ni chichi no na yobeba, ah

    hitosuji nagareru namida-boshi

    yaru zo Pegasu Tekkusettaa

    uchuu-no-kishi, uchuu-no-kishi Tekkaman

  • I have an old Tekkaman VHS in my collection that I've had forever. Every once in awhile I break it out! It's the english dub.

  • I don't know if you're already aware, but that's quite a rare commodity that you own. Tapes of the obscure, incomplete English dub of Tekkaman from back in 1984 are quite hard to come by......you should record/upload the English intro and some clips, especially now that the series is becoming more well known (along with other Tatsunoko shows) due to the upcoming "Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom" fighting game.

  • I have two old tekkaman vhs one and two, there were two cassettes I think its the whole series actually dubbed... I'm trying to trace it down... I have found part II i cant remember where i put part I but it under my house. theres a hiquality italian dub maybe someone can get that one dvd and I can upload the enlish audio to the better copy than my vhs.

    someone hit me up

  • @SuperAdventures this song stuck with me during all these years and the gruesome transformation inside pegasus chamber

  • @diaryofajunkie Csn you show it to us at youtube

  • @diaryofajunkie I remember renting that VHS at total video when I was 5 but I always forgot what the anime was. Thank god I got tatsunoko vs capcom because I instantly remembered who tekkeaman was and finally found the anime I have been looking for over 12 years.

  • Holy smoke I didn't know there was a 1975 series Wow!! I have the one from early and late 90's series!

  • takero tekkaman iamini ......... spacca uchu cu no kishi

  • do you know online shops that sell this anime series on DVD ? I also know there was a English dubbed. It was done great. I watched it back in the 70's I Do not have data how much editing was done or what. if some one can help me please let me know. This is a great classic anime I must get on DVD

  • Okay... I don't remember this at all. Was this like this when carried to U.S.?

  • It wasn't that bad. Your typical 80s cartoon like Voltron and Transformers. The voiceacting was pretty well done. The names were changed obviously. He also transformed by saying "Interlock!" instead of "Teksetter". All in all, it was pretty good.

  • 오 철가면 오

  • i agree with EVA01X

    Wow...

  • Every time I look at Tekkamon here, I still can't believe that this eventually led to Tekkamon Blade

    It...

    It just boggles the mind

  • Think about this: How did the Mazinger Z turn into Mazinkaiser?

  • Mazinkaiser was actually very similar to Mazinger Z, infact they consider it a retelling of Z's story. While Space Knight Tekkaman was nothing like Tekkaman Blade short of some of the basic concepts and such, I think.

  • mammma mia ,ogni volta che vedo una sigla dei miei vecchi cartoni animati preferiti ,penso sempre ai bei giorni davanti alla tv ad aspettare che li trasmettessero.

  • funky intro

I love when he yells ...."TE..KKA..MAAAAAAAN"

  • Fantastico mi ricorda la gioventù

  • I would really like to see Tekkaman make an appearance in a Super Robot Taisen game. It would be perfect for an old VS new setting.

  • He is in one for DS, and is super broken.

  • He's talking about the 1975 Tekkaman, not Blade.

  • That was Blade. And yeah, he was pretty broken. THIS tekkaman is going to be in a crossover Marvel vs Capcom like fighting game over in japan.

  • It's called

Tatsunoko VS Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes

    ...in tradition of:

Marvel VS Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes

  • Fantastico, un balzo indietro nel tempo . . . mi piacerebbe vedere la puntata con la sua prima trasformazione !!!

  • Grazie...mi sono commosso...

  • You do realize that this is a children's show, don't you?

  • la sigla iniziale è uno spettacolo, poi vuoi mettere la lotta contro Valdaster?

  • uno dei miei preferiti

  • One of the best anime by Tatsunoko, with Hurrycane Polymar and Yattaman!

  • *shakes my head* oooook

  • Yes, there was. The original Tekkaman was dubbed and released in the US during the early-to-mid '80's. Only 13 of the 85 episodes were dubbed though, and the dub itself was very obscure and seems to have disappeared off the earth.

  • Yea, my cousin had a VHS dub of one of the episodes of the original series. I don't know where it went though...

  • @SuperAdventures Yes! This was at K-Mart back in the late 80s for $19.99. Never bought it though.

  • Intersting to see the ordinal opening, I never seen it before, just the remake's intros, was there ever a english opening for this verison of Teknoman?

  • Me too, one of the few remakes that were actually superior than the original.

  • superior ? In my opinion the remake is not a remake .. the history is much different and just an adaptation to the new generations which grew up watching tele-tubbies LOL ......

  • well i grew up in the nineties with the version with d-boy/blade/slade so i'm more familair with that one

  • I like the remake better

  • oh .. remake .. just 4 babies
