the reason why it seems reasonable is because the bruins have won a cup since getting rid of thornton. they are extremely close to winning and if burkey can convince san jose's gm enough, throw in a few prospects and mid to late picks, a decent player from our end, it seems like a very reasonable trade for our side and san jose's.

if they are willing to give up heatley then they'll prob give up thornton.
