That DANGER sign at the start always used to give me the heebie-jeebies combined with the eerie music and level. I actually couldn't see what it said to begin with either. :P

I used to cheat when I played this level.I would jump onto the rope to avoid the hogs.I also noticed that if you keep running you can walk over small gaps.

you know , slippery climb isnt so hard if you just concentrate and not rage. for me the hardest ones were the high road and sunset vista

oh and starting from 1:38 you waited until the TNT exploded.. why is that? is it because if you go away too far while the countdown it dissapears right, making it missed box right?, idk I always use to do the same thing, just waited it off...

Actually, you don't get the red gem from "Lights out" as the description says. It can be obtained from "Slippery climb". =)

It's hard to imagine that Crash Bandicoot 1 was mainly made for kids, sinse it's a DAMN hard game.

Thanks for constantly noting the gem color. Since each color gem also has an unique shape then it makes it easier to determine which one it is. The color gem's shape here matches the Red Gem profile.

Dude, the level is Slippery Climb! Lights Out contains the Purple Gem.
