re: slow motion: the old silent films ran at a slightly slower frame rate than modern film (18fps??), so we're used to them looking too fast. That's 6 fps difference, or 25%. If the actors were listening, and synching themselves, to a track slowed down by 25%, and then speeded back up to make the music sound correct, we'd get the familiar 'silent film' look.

@sirkous I'm sure it wasn't shot in slow motion but spead up by frames per second.... They could have slowed the tempo for them to do it at a slower speed, but I don't the that the actors deliberately moved slowly...
