I disagree with Steven A. I'm a Lakers fan, & I'm not desperate at all. We're not gonna win an NBA championship every year. Even if we don't win this year, who gives a shit. We've already got 16 championships, we were in the NBA finals from '08-10 & won 2 back to back. There's no reason for any Laker fan, to feel even remotely 'desperate'.

5 in a row, wow I guess this is the highlight of the season for the lakers this year. kobe can't shoot 40 shots a game every game. bynum's knees will explode any game now, we know it's going to happen it's just a matter of when. the lakers bench scored 3 points in a game. we are not even 20 games into the season and the lakers are playing so hard to scrap up any wins, because it's not going to be any more easier later in the season. the heat have issues.
@dalmain77 Andrew Bynum's injuries were all separate and from his 7 foot body slamming down and to the hardwood and smashing his knees in pretty much bad luck... Now that has big 20 pound brace on that knee I doubt it gets re injured. As for the Laker offense it's bad i'll admit that but the defense is great and if Pau steps up and Metta steps up the Lakers are a good team not great but good and in this ridiculous season good is enough to win the chip IMO. This season is open for so many teams
