Yes, I admit I'm a dirty cheater for attempting to use the black hole, but in return, I end up getting killed in the end. Those Sector Z Ships can be pricks.

Level 3 I just got into Macbeth today... and died, that route is UNMERCIFUL.

It's impressive because I could clear SF64 on expert on the hard route when I was a child.

Now I am more experienced and Level 3 just kicks my ass.

If Im not mistaken, I believe that the road is a highway going into the city/mechanical complex of Venom.

I can't remember, but I think the enemies on this level were mercinaries trying to kill you. Not sure....been like 12-13 since I last played this game..Sounds alot more intense and desparate, so it would fit the other one better...

Still wished they used this music for Venom 3 instead.

@cheesycoke that's becasue this is the original, real starfox, this game is what made starfox cool, and though starfox 64 was an aewsome addition to the series, every game after this one didn't do justice to the original. Starfox assault tried, but all it had was aewsome music and graphics... it failed at overall style and being a true, true improvement sequel.

I always felt sorry for the cargo van at the end. Here the poor guy is, just trying to make a living delivering motorcycles to a nearby dealership, and some crazed ***hole in some overpowered paper airplane swoops in from behind and blows the car-carrier off the road. If I was that trucker I'd be raging too, AND probably throw those bikes at the pilot myself!

If you want a real reason though, it's because the game uses the Super FX Chip, and it can't be converted or something for the Virtual Console. Forgot where I read about it, but the article should be out there.

What? Pikmin 2? Isn't that game about picking flowers? Anyway, OoT was much better than Starfox 64 (I like both, but really, if you ask anyone who's a Zelda and Starfox fan, they'll most likely say OoT is the best N64 game). Anyway, the best game for GC is probably SSBM, not a game about picking flowers. And I haven't played Mario 3 yet, but I'd have to say Zelda 1 deserves that spot).

Technically, yes, to my knowledge. However, there were 3D Vector games before this (I know Star Wars Arcade was out a few years before this). Also, this game did not allow for full 360 degree movement, something which is pretty much a staple for 3D games. If you want to be like that, Stunt Race FX was probably the first true 3D game.
