  • Indeed an awesome prayer. I am still learning, but it brings forth strong emotion

  • i really keep on watching this video.. i think it's really great. it really pulls me to the egyptian gods. and makes me want to learn more about them. just amazing

  • @wiccalinsje Wonderful to hear! :)

  • i felt that! moving to hear and watch. ty

  • hi :) my main goddess is Bast, and my main god is Anpu, but the way i practice wicca is more...celt? is this wrong or do you know of a good way to incorporate these two tradition? blessed be

  • @HopeAngel777 Really interesting that you said this, because that is exactly what I'm now doing. I'm moving to Wales so I will be taking the Egyptian pantheon with me, and then showing respect to the Celtic pantheon (and I still do some celtic practices like may pole dancing ect). I will get round to a video on making this balance, when I have settled into it! :) x

  • so if we want to offer something to a god or goddessthan we chant this

  • @Alexanderglamify The original was meant to give an Ancestor an offering to offer the God. But I changed it a little so it can just be offered to a God or Goddess :)

  • @RachyyWebb92 I fyou type in Egyptian Offering prayer, or Htp di nisu into google you'll find this prayer! :)

  • wow u are truely devoted im so glad there are other wiccans like me who have such a passion for egypt thats why im such a fan haha u know I bet u were an egyptian in your past life. keep up the good work. blessed be

  • @Alexanderglamify Thank you! Glad to see another Egypt fan! I think it is very possible I was in a past life ^^ x

  • wow , love how this sounds!! have you been learning egyptian??

  • @tatulover01 yep I have been trying :) x

  • @dellexell Thank you! :) Hmmm I really don't know where you can go to find it. As far as I am aware the celts didn't record things in writing and so you won't find ancient gaelic prayers. I'm sorry I really don't know how to help there...

  • Where did you learn to speak Egyptian?

  • @TheManiacalSatanist6 I'm in the process of learning, I do a lot of reading in books and online, and thsi year I will be studying it at Uni :) My pronounciation is still a bit off at the moment x

  • I love this video!!! You speak Egyptian very well. Btw, where did you get your music you were playing in the background?

  • @merytaset04 Thank you! Some parts are a bit off, but I tried :D I get my music from computers games actually! I went on the files for Pharoah and found the tracks! x

  • thanks for this, I loved it.

  • @ConundrumDragon01 Thank you :) x

  • Wow!! My high priestess favors the Egyptian pantheonand aside from the occasional "hotep", I don't think even she tries to do her devotions in the ancient tongue.

Nicely done. (Of course, the best thing about speaking a dead language is that there's no-one around to correct your pronunciation :))

  • Be careful Olivia, you speak those words a little TOO well. :))

    I'm impressed!!

  • @tomken8dy Thanks!! Past lives ;) x

  • @Pagyptsian

I'm not sure I want to draw a laughing face

    or a scared one. O_O

  • @tomken8dy How about a smile? :)

  • @Pagyptsian

  • neeeevermind I read the link, I think I get it now~ Was confused for minute there haha

  • @standabovethecrowd Good :) x

  • I actually just saw this prayer in another video a few minutes ago and it made it seem like it was a prayer for the dead, like an offering you do for the dead, to their Ka. I'm not sure, but I thought I would bring it up...?

    Lovely altar :)

  • @standabovethecrowd OO what video was it!? I want to see :) x

  • @Pagyptsian watch?v=qUqSqzOdWXo there's the video if you're still interested :)

  • @anonymousxxone Thanks! xD

  • May Isis bless all of you

  • @Joeyal123 Thank you! May she send her blessing your way too! x

  • @Pagyptsian you welcome

  • how does one learn such a old Language

  • @Joeyal123 Lots of research! The vowel sounds are always an approximation but it is possible to bring this language back to life. x

  • @Pagyptsian it would be cool to see people speaking this again

  • I loved hearing this done in an ancient Egyptian language... apparently called Kemetic according to you & others commenting. I love language so this is awesome to hear... but also has one who's always been a bit fascinated and pulled in by Egyptian culture, etc. =) lovely

  • @ibkristykat Thank you! I was very happy to learn it! x

  • @gwenethalwyn I can't post links here, so I will put the link in the info bar. x

  • VERY COOL-Yo :o)

    Radiant Blessings )O(

  • you did beautifully, it sounded so pretty :3

  • All though I have no idea what you said, it sounded very powerful and beautiful! :)

  • I just LOVE ancient languages prayers. They have such enchanting in them.

    Interesting video.

  • do offering prayers have to be in ancient Kemetic?

  • @RedDragon033195 Not at all :) Any language is fine, but I am trying to speak Egyptian more and more in my rituals. x

  • WOW. chills. Ancient languages have so much meaning in them..... the words are enchanting.

  • Oh my Goddess, you did great :)

  • How did you learn it?

  • @nicdestiny I found this particular one on a website and in my personal studies I am learning the language.

  • Very good. It's nice to see people keeping the old traditions alive in the face of current opposition and lack of interest.

  • Does this language have an official name? Love this by the way!

  • @nicdestiny I suppose it is just Ancient Kemetic. Thanks!

  • @nicdestiny thats exactly what i was going to ask, i can't find anywhere, how to 'speak' this language.

  • @Arawn4 I got the transliterations from Egyptian texts and I added vowels where there are commonly accepted to be to make it speakable :)

  • Really beautiful!!! :D

  • @conjoe22 Thank you!

  • Isis.....is is is is is ..I am sure isis is very pleased with your altar honoring HER.....very nice
