@TheChoujinVirus Illegal how? I don't believe there is a law against fabric that stops or returns a electrical charge, and if you are being shot with a tazer by a L.E.O. they will report you were already resisting arrest - the fabric being irrelevent to a criminal charge. Please reference the law stating it is illegal in a response post.
Well of course your not gonna feel anything its a fabric that doesnt conduct electricity, but how about they taze you on the other 60% of your body that doesnt have that fabric?
Greater understanding and changes vituosas, and a greater commitment to helping others to be aware and good luck.
For you strength and peace, we are all on the same boulder in connection with the Cosmos. Consciousness Consciousness Consciousness, strength and peace!
what if a bad guy gets their hands on these and when they try to attack citizens with a stun gun for protection, they fall victim to the bad guy? i say fuck non lethal weapons, only way to protect yourself nowadays is the .40 cal loaded in a glock 23
THEY SHOULD GIVE THESE TO ALL CHILDREN AND WOMEN AND THE DISABLED as the police love to target them and tase innocent people, also really any man as long as they're under fascist federal reserve system of terrorism chaos destruction cruelty THE SYSTEM IS THE CRIMINAL THE SYSTEM IS THE TERRORIST!!!!!!
to all the people saying "bullshit", really... go back to science class... this would effectively draw current into the armor and away from the body, preventing the taser from being effective
i couldnt agree more i hear police abuse tasers more than use them when they actually need them, honestly if you have th epower to shock some one and get away with it you mean wouldnt if they frustrate you?
If the pigs wouldn't have turned them into a citizenry torture/compliance device, we would have no need to protect ourselves from our protectors. Blame the cops for giveing tazers a bad name.
So now every half assed crook is gonna go out & buy a taser just so he can shoot some pigs in the face or balls with it, knowing full well that his special piggy wind breaker will only stop a zappin to the body :))) God, whats wrong with these idiots?
any garment or fabric that has considerably less resistance than the human body will prevent shock as shown. Aluminum foil would be a crude alternative way to defeat taser effects. Funny how foil hats come to mind. The guy's hat was basically a covert foil hat lol.
Its a Scam Evervone had a reg piece of body armor on under there clothing. Ie buletprof vest taser will not penetrate a vest the hat had a soft trauma plate in it. Watch video and look at the conthact points does not compress under pressure
Thanks for the info. It seems strange that the military would need to protect against a nonlethal weapon that isn't in the hands of civilians or other soldiers.
The X26C is the civilian version of the X26, the most popular police-issue taser on the market. The only difference is the effective range of the barbs. For every police-issue taser, in fact, there's a civilian-legal one.
Strangely enough Civilians are better off with tasers than cops. Police don't have anywhere near the amount of oversight and repercussions when they use them on someone. It's been used time and time again in place of police training and in place of Non-violent conflict resolution. Additionally it can be quite deadly to random people. There are fit people who died from Tasers.
"Ryan's death could be attributed to the Taser shock, physical exertion from the chase and the fact that one of his heart arteries was unusually small."
Should the government should outlaw running to the point of physical exertion, then?
Second result:
"cardiac arrest following nine 50,000-volt electroshock applications from a conductive electrical weapon."
Let me rewrite my statement: no deaths have been attributed to correct Taser use.
actually dr byron lee wrote an article saying otherwise...cardiologist from UCSF with some hard data everyone else is too scared to tackle. Props to Dr. Lee.
"An autopsy report [...] attributed the death of Ronald Hasse, 54, to electrocution from two Taser jolts delivered by a Chicago police officer. The autopsy said methamphetamines contributed to Hasse's death."
Fourth result from less than an hour ago:
"The forensic evidence indicates the force used by the officers against Reilly, including the Taser discharge, did not contribute to his death."
No deaths have been solely attributed to correct Taser use.
Michael Clark was a married man, father of a three-year old son, and now he's dead after Austin police officers maced and Tasered him in a tragic incident last week. Nine officers were on the scene, but they chose to electrocute the unarmed Clark instead of overpowering him. Clark was being arrested for public intoxication, a misdemeanor.
...
The Tarrant County Medical Examiners Office ruled the death of a man in Fort Worth police custody a homicide.
Correct? Now you're moving goal posts, but here we go:
"According to his family and friends, Ryan was in very good physical shape. The county coroner found no evidence of alcohol or drugs in his system and ruled that Ryan's death could be attributed to the Taser shock,"
...
In October, an internal investigation cleared Officer Harris of any wrongdoing and concluded that he had used appropriate force.
physical exertion from the chase and the fact that one of his heart arteries was unusually small.
"
We can still see though that between being fatigued and his internal problems, a Taser pushed him over the edge. His physical health was fine and the artery defect most likely never came up until the autopsy.
2) Once, was not ruled as brutality or abuse and officer tried cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
3) Unknown, but he never knew a taser could kill him most likely.
Maybe I was hasty, the firearm deaths would be the exact purpose of a taser. So a taser should be acceptable in cases of an alternative to deadly force.
Unfortunately it seems like quite a few conflicts are resolved without using what should be the officer's main weapon: His tongue.
Better training and better screening would help immensely.
And yet it is a fuck load safer than a fucking pistol. You hippies piss me off, why dont we all revert to how Somalia is, with no standing government and no cops?

One may be able to wear grounding straps on your shoes connected to conductive clothing with a shielding layer, as well.

Incorrect, no deaths have been attributed solely to Taser use. Otherwise, people that argue that would quote sources.

Are you putting me on? I just googled 'taser death' and BANG a few articles from various dates including recent ones which shows its still going on.

Makron5 2 years ago 2
"... that Ryan's death could be attributed to the Taser shock,"
What's after the comma?
You need to know three things:
1.) The full autopsy report, which you didn't provide, to ensure that there were no other medical conditions.
2.) How many times the Taser was discharged, which you didn't provide, to ensure that it wasn't brutality and abuse.
3.) When it was discharged, which you didn't provide, to determine whether or not the subject was warned beforehand.

Note that by taser being deadly force I mean as in deadly force as in, you'd draw your gun at this stage and fire and nothing less than this.
