  • I'd like to use the F word to describe what I'd like to do with Anderson.

  • Both Jason and Dr. Peterson make some excellent points. I think Jason is more right, because of what happened prior to the civil rights movement. A funeral of a word solves nothing, it takes a lot more than that. It takes serious discussion and education of why the n-word is used. And absolutely a lot more has to be addressed about the hip-hop culture, which in reality is embarrassing and in some cases, destroying the African-American community.

  • If black people don't like hearing the "N" word well stop using it. 95% of people who say that are black.

  • Whitlock in the house!

  • fuck whiltock.

  • LMAO at TI.

  • he speaks tha truth

  • T.I. speaks nothing but lies.

  • Are you serious?

  • @XtremeAnalyst prove it........NIGGGA!!!!!!!!!

  • @XtremeAnalyst he's a millioniare.

  • C'mon rap music is a refelction of the ghetto. Why does Jason Whitlock always blame hip hop? Their are bigger issues in the black community besides the 'N' word.

  • Because rap and hip hop glorify violence and "thug" life. Do you really want your children to start emulating these guys?

  • how can it glorify something that already exists. And please people use that word long b4 hip hop and rap ever came into.

  • You have to be kidding me

  • Dr. Peterson won this.

Fix poverty and this "cultrue of disrespect" end with it.

  • How do you fix a problem as widespread as poverty? I'd sure as hell like to know.

  • They are wasting their time.

  • Right on, brother Whitlock. It has to start somewhere.

"We're the only race to embrace our disgrace"

    ---NYOIL

  • yeah right. wat a uncle tom

  • What is your definition of an uncle tom, sir??? The door swings both ways, while you call him an uncle tom, you have these uncle tom rappers that capitalize off of the misery of socioeconomic hardships of black and brown people. Capitalism historically was an excuse for rich whites to profitize off of free laboring blacks and the oppressed in this country, and we have the audacity to adopt the same ideologies that was used to keep the oppressed...OPPRESSED. It's Stockholm syndrome!!!

  • lol nice. .....but what the hell does a word that we use somehow have 2 do with black on black crime. There is no connection. Jason Whitlock is just a fat ass journalist who knows nothing about ths subject and should just stick 2 sports

  • I don't think you are grasping what I'm saying, I'm saying get rid of the brutal psychological enslavement tool that word deems, then you have self empowerment. And there is a connection, sir. When we use that word as a term of endearment, we disconnect ourselves from the pains of our oppressed ancestors that went through those pains for us to have some of the freedoms and benefits we take for granted. The more we disconnect ourselves, the more desensitized we become.

  • true. You know Michael Dyson talked about this in a book. It does make sense. I do agree that these rappers do deserve some type of accountability but to blame HIp Hop for every single problem is the very absurdity that has no place in the argument. Its not just the rappers because they didnt create the N word. But yeah it does make sense what you said

  • {cont} which goes back to the usage of the word, once you break the mental enslavement behind the word, there would be no use to use it. And maybe you're right about Jason Whitlock, I'm not here to argue that, but what I'm saying is for these clown ass rappers to do what they do and NOT take some level of accountability, is beyond reprehensible

  • Don't you think it's just music?

  • nope...

  • @victornewman06 quit hatin NIGGGA!!!!!

  • @ndc18 Are you stupid??? Don't reply to me if you don't have shit to say!!! You seem like a slave!!! I bet if white folks gave you money to tie a tail to your ass and eat bananas, you'd do it, huh Moonshine?

  • @victornewman06 how much money are we talking about. 10 mil, 20 mil. LOL!!!!!!!!!

  • @ndc18 Riiiiiiight!!! LOL

  • This may seem corny to you, but I'll say it anyway, it's not about banning a word, but banning the mentality behind the word. Once you alleviate the self hating undertones of that word, then the next step is to become responsible, and a lot of people don't want to be responsible...instead, we make excuses like, "I'm a product of my environment", or "Don't blame me, blame society that made me" blah blah blah. It's ridiculous!!!

  • @victornewman06 quit hatin NIGGA!!!!!!!!!!!! These black brothers afre making tons of money.

  • How the hell is a funeral gonna change the way people act think and speak them NAACP motherfuckers need 2 really wake up and smell the coffee cause they way 2 outta touch with reality

  • Damn here you are again Malcom why dont you tell everyone what you are doing for the black community and what's the reality other than you (just like Whitlock) are a racist enabler.

  • thank you

  • A symbolic gesture that, at the end of the day, doesn't mean a damn thing. It would seem the NAACP has bigger fish to fry and has little to no time for such a matter that is coherently irrelevant on a myriad of levels. However, as is the case with most black groups and their leaders, they make mountains out of molehills and elevate weak subject matter to heights of immediate necessitation. In my opinion, that's just as dispicable as using the word itself.
