  • But your motherboard scares me. =P

  • Great song

  • You like rush? Thats awsome!

  • tricccple

What sort of internal temperatures do you get for this Antec case, especially in the summer? Can you possibly ask your friend about it?

    Thanks!

  • @maxmmv im sorry, very unlikely she's a customer of mine and doesn't know that much computers

  • Attention.. your fingers are fat!

  • hey guys i got the foxconn a7gm.s 2.0 im not sure if this motherboard supports phenom li can some1 tell me if any1 know please thanks

  • updated description with a link, check it out

  • Hey nice video i am thnking in doing a build almost the exact same do you think a phenom 2 x2 550 will go nice in this mobo? or should i go back a generation?

  • no do'nt' go back, i heard very good things on the x2 550

  • my board is an intel based Foxconn board

    P4M900-8RS2H

just because it is single channel RAM and only has 2 RAM slots doesn't mean it's a bad board does it?

    I run a Core 2 Quad Q6700

    2X2GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer

    Vista Ultimate SP2 x64

    Windows 7 x64

    Sapphire HD 2600XT 512mb GDDR3

(be upgrading to a 9800GT or GTX or GTX+ probs) plays Crysis fine...

  • ur motherboard is not single channel ram, it's 1x dual channel , it doesn't mean it's bad only means it's compact

  • @tricccple, lol I know a lot more now than that comment back then :P Built a new rig over X-MAS P5Q Premium BIOS Rev 1306, flashed to 2201 2X2GB Crucial Ballisx Tracer @ 800MHz 4-4-4-12-3T 2.0V Q6700 @ Stock (OC later, when I get a 2nd GPU) CM Hyper N520 CM Elite 330 Case with extra 120MM CM Blue LED fan at front 750W CiT PSU Sapphire HD 5770 New Edition (Non-Reference) @ Stock 850/1200 Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Try not to laugh, But I'm still on IDE :P
  • if the hard drive still in working order , nothing's wrong with ide

  • Wow, one person who agrees :P

And it's fast enough for me.

But I need more space anyway.

Out of space in 2 months just on games.

    But I ordered a Seagate 7200RPM 750GB 32MB Cache 3.5" HDD

    not sure if it's 7200.12 or 7200.11

OEM for £55 not bad eh? :)

  • I have A7GM-S (bios version 799F1P12) with the phenom 2 x2 550. At the time of writing this reply, 18th July 2009, this motherboard does not support the chip. I'm not sure when a new bios will be released but this is pretty frustrating. Windows can't take advantage of it's dual core goodness.

  • Hello, i bought the same motherboard, but i dont know the dual channel thing. I got 4gb ram 2 x2, how shold i install, both on yellow, both on blue, or 1 yellow and 1 blue. Plz i want to know, tnx

  • the colour is design to help user to determine the right dual channel setup easily, to enable dual channel , put the 2 sticks in the same colour,

  • i was looking up foxconn and i dont know much about if if it a good motherboard manufacturer want to built my own pc for the beter games so please tell me if it is a good manufacturer like MSI and asus

  • Foxconn is just as good as other brands, in fact , foxconn have been around longer then most of them except they are more of a oem manufature til recent years, of course go on to google and search the board u interested in

  • I have on REALLY IMPORTANT question, you know how there is a 4 pin power connector near your cpu, did the antec power supply that came with the case have that connector??? Please get back to me soon!!!

  • all power supplies made after the pentium 4 came out feature that plug, so im pretty darn sure.

  • why no sata hdd

  • because of the budget

  • wow you havea much different case then i do, im just worried on how to do the bios, i still have to get a monitor and whatnot

  • you installed the memory wrong btw, your supposed to put one dimm on each color for dual channel mode, which is obviously twice as fast. i have this mobo, GREAT for overclocking.

  • I DID installed them on the same colour bro, ur thinking of the colour that jumps one spot which this mobo isn't like that, it's right next to each other, it is dual channel enabled

  • i thought blue was channel one and yellow was channel two.

  • they ususally make the 2x same colour to make it easy to recognize. CPUz showed dual channel as well.

  • You have very good taste in music. CLASSIC ROCK FTW. Rush eh?

  • aww thanks, Rush's awsome

  • 40gb pufff. i recently bought a 500gb and thought it was enough, now i need another one :P

  • i shall explain, the lady i build the machine for, who was using a dell machine with some celeron and 64mb ram + 6gb hdd, and hat hdd of hers only used 1.8gb

so i offer 40GB for free she accepted it to cut cost.

  • Nice mobo & nice lan party case.

my shuttle was also build for my friend lol cool !

  • ohhhh i thought it was urs ~~

  • i allmost got a mini atx foxconn board for my wifes computer but heard bad things on them...so let me know how it goes!..

  • only bad thing would be airflow, which is why most matx build are with low energy cpus and other parts, anything with less heat.

  • yeah...and it seems to me the cpu i was using for it was a amd 6400+ which runs semi hot..with stock cooling that is...but im not a fan of Matx though..unless i was making a lan party rig to run around with..that would be it..

  • 6400s are 125w TDP (dunno about other versions) they are pretty hot much like a high end phenom

  • Whats really funny is that my 9950be is a 140w and runs cooler than the 6400 did..same cooler too..a ultra Tec..

  • i guess, 140w for 4 is easiler to handle then 125w for only 2 lol i dunno just guessing
