Yeah, it does justice to .50 more than most films, however its slightly overdone. Even .50 doesnt blow people up in half from the torso. Sure, if you hit a bone you can cut a leg or arm off, and if you hit the chest of a big man so the bullet starts to expand you might get an exit hole that you could fit your fist in. But the entry holes are only 12,7mm big, so a slight hollywood-addition in the movie but oh well, it sure looks gruesome!
