@shieldsff Greetings. Angels WERE often sent as messengers. To DANIEL, for example, the Angel came with the prophecy of the 70 weeks determined upon 'Thy People and Thy Holy City'. And I believe JOSHUA also received a message via Angelic messenger.
But these messages did not contradict previous revelations, as the Quran does.

@pakifighter Ok, by Muhammad's time people where apparently using last names more, but I still don't see why that was so important to the individual, and we don't have last names for Moses etc. Like I say in Mathews case, sometimes he was referred to Mathew the tax collector. The reason the last name is important, is to be able to confirm the credibility of the source. Look at the hadith that we muslims have, you can trace them to their original source. Gives more credibility. How can I trust someone named Luke without knowing his last name and family ?

@dattilotech You should get some knowledge of Hebrew first. The Us is a plural of respect, just like in arabic, urdu, pushto etc etc. It doesnt mean more than one. When the say Elohim in hebrew, the im is a plural of respect. When the queen of England says " We have done this or that" , she is still taking about only her self.

See Isaiah 11:2 : (1) Spirit of the LORD, (2) Spirit of wisdom, (3) Spirit of understanding, (4) Spirit of counsel, (5) Spirit of power, (6) Spirit of knowledge, (7) Spirit of the fear of the Lord.

@pakifighter Is Barnes commentary the word of God; Come on your reading a whole lot into that; the vs. doesn't say that; quite frankly I don't claim to have full interpretation of the verse, but I believe if it was attributes it would be translated attributes, not spirits. New Test is greek; so the greek word here means a current of air, breath, or breeze; God, Christ's spirit, the Holy Spirit- Ghost(the one you thinks, Muhammed), life, or Spirit. The word translated say's nothing of attrib.

@abrekize Unfortunately you don't believe our scriptures; I puzzled why you quote them. The one Jesus said would come is the Holy Ghost, not Mohammad. The holy Ghost is God's spirit, the same Spirit that rested on Mary to impregnate her which is why he's referred to as the Son of God. So if what you where saying was true first you would be saying that Mohamad is God, second that he was Jesus father. The Holy Spirit came on what we call the day of pentecost, way before Mohamad was born.

As I said, it is not easy to follow Jesus. Many christians around the world are being persecuted for their faith. How did the sins of our fore parents (Adam and Eve) separated us from God? Eg. if you quarrel with yr brother, u would have sour relationship with him, so much so that you can no longer live in one roof with him. So u leave him for another place. In doing so u r separated from him. 2 bridge u back with yr brother, u need to form a relationship with him again. For Christians, Jesus is that bridge between them and God. In John 21:18-19 Jesus said, "Feed my sheep. 18 I tell you the truth, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go." 19 Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, "Follow me!". This conversatn was aftr Jesus raised up frm the death (after the crucifixion) and before He ascended to heaven.
Jesus might not have heard about the word Christian in his lifetime. However, the word Christian means follower of Christ. The word Christ used by Peter to tell Jesus who He is was accepted by Jesus in Matt.:16:15.
Matt. 4:19, 8:22, 9:9, 10:38, 16:24, 19:21, Mark 8:34, etc, all contains request from Jesus to willing hearts to follow Him.
17Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. 18And I tell you that you are Peter,[b] and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades[c] will not overcome it.[d]
I am afraid, Dedat has missed/omitted some important facts. In Matthew 16:13-17 it was tated: 13When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?" 14They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets." 15"But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" 16Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ,[a] the Son of the living God."

The words “man” and “woman” both appear 23 times in the Qur’an. The 23rd chromosome is the main element that determines an individual’s gender.
Humans also have 23 chromosomal pairs altogether.
Such facts were only proven in 1905. How is it possible for a single man 1400 years ago to have such advanced knowledge? Certainly, he must be aided by an all-knowing being which is none other than god himself.

@shieldsff Greetings. Angels WERE often sent as messengers. To DANIEL, for example, the Angel came with the prophecy of the 70 weeks determined upon 'Thy People and Thy Holy City'. And I believe JOSHUA also received a message via Angelic messenger.
But these messages did not contradict previous revelations, as the Quran does.

I don't agree with Muhammad on every thing, but some of his writings seemed to contain some wisdom & praise for God, but Jesus was the prophesized Christ, which means the very anointed one of God; so the name Jesus Christ.

The reason the last name is important, is to be able to confirm the credibility of the source. Look at the hadith that we muslims have, you can trace them to their original source. Gives more credibility. How can I trust someone named Luke without knowing his last name and family ?

In the RSV, Revised Standard Version, the trinity and "begetting" Jesus are thrown away as fabrications. Meaning that theyre added later by humans. Moses was a prophet, Matthew was not. Matthew lived 100 yrs after Jesus, how can he be trusted when he newer saw or knew Jesus ? Would you believe my statements about persons living 100 yrs ago that Ive never met ?

@pakifighter I've heard that before, but the queen can speak to her royal kingdom, & say let us do this, but the scripture say's let's make man in OUR IMAGE. Who had the image of God but God alone. So for him to say OUR image, I think its God, Man is a higher being than Angels, so it wasn't the Angels he spoke to. @dattilotech You havent read the Barnes commentary on this verse. The seven spirits of God is refering to the attributes of God. See Isaiah 11:2 : (1) Spirit of the LORD, (2) Spirit of wisdom, (3) Spirit of understanding, (4) Spirit of counsel, (5) Spirit of power, (6) Spirit of knowledge, (7) Spirit of the fear of the Lord.
You still dont get the hebrew language. Ask a jew,he will tell you that when God is saying US, he means himself. Arabic is the sister language of hebrew, same stuff there.

@pakifighter Is Barnes commentary the word of God; Come on your reading a whole lot into that; the vs. doesn't say that; quite frankly I don't claim to have full interpretation of the verse, but I believe if it was attributes it would be translated attributes, not spirits. New Test is greek; so the greek word here means a current of air, breath, or breeze; God, Christ's spirit, the Holy Spirit- Ghost(the one you thinks, Muhammed), life, or Spirit. The word translated say's nothing of attrib.

@abrekize Unfortunately you don't believe our scriptures; I puzzled why you quote them. The one Jesus said would come is the Holy Ghost, not Mohammad. The holy Ghost is God's spirit, the same Spirit that rested on Mary to impregnate her which is why he's referred to as the Son of God. So if what you where saying was true first you would be saying that Mohamad is God, second that he was Jesus father. The Holy Spirit came on what we call the day of pentecost, way before Mohamad was born.

But the Presence of God, in the form of the Holy Spirit was ON them, and not IN THEM.
No one but those in Islam, has EVER read Songs 5:16 to be mention of a man named Mohammed, my friend. No one who knows the Word of God thinks it either.

God has the power to make mistakes, does that mean he should? you see the second God does something that is UnGodly or injust, he ceases to be God. by definition God is eternal, no beginning, no end, no need for food or sleep etc. By definition man is not eternal, he is limited, he has a beginning and end, and needs food and sleep, he is dependant on food, a created thing, How can a God be dependant? the secong God becomes a man he is no longer God.

As I said, it is not easy to follow Jesus. Many christians around the world are being persecuted for their faith. I am sure you have heard of christian beheadings, christian missionaries being captured and threatened to be killed, those who wanted to become christian are accused of being apostates and are threatened to be killed, etc, etc. How many of you who read this posting are willing to die for your faith in Jesus just like he died for you? Can u imagine yourself nailed to the cross?

How did the sins of our fore parents (Adam and Eve) separated us from God? Eg. if you quarrel with yr brother, u would have sour relationship with him, so much so that you can no longer live in one roof with him. So u leave him for another place. In doing so u r separated from him. 2 bridge u back with yr brother, u need to form a relationship with him again. For Christians, Jesus is that bridge between them and God. Infact, the word christian signifies relationship with Jesus, not religion.

Jesus demonstrated His love for God the Father by taking up the challenge to lay down His life for us whom He is so obliged to bridge back to God. By taking up the challenge, He also demonstrated His love for us, His neighbours. Mind you, the sins of our fore parents had separated us from God. Like Peter and other disciples, christians have to die for their faith in Jesus just as Jesus himself died for His faith in God the Father. This is what He meant by "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." Matt. 22:38 And he said that this is the first and greatest commandment. He also said that the second is like it: "Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." Matt. 22:39-40.

Jesus might not have heard about the word Christian in his lifetime. However, the word Christian means follower of Christ. The word Christ used by Peter to tell Jesus who He is was accepted by Jesus in Matt.:16:15.
Matt. 4:19, 8:22, 9:9, 10:38, 16:24, 19:21, Mark 8:34, etc, all contains request from Jesus to willing hearts to follow Him.

Well some human doesn't know the true message that was revealed thru the real Bible i.e Injil.Majority most of the christians faith had been deceived by their bishops and priests.Read and understand the Quran and you will know which is the religion of the universe.Revert to Islam to all christians and you will receive the real faith which was brought by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

For Jesus said in Mark 16:15 "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; ..." So don't take for granted that you muslims know who christians are. Don't be so boastful.

Why do you ask about errors? Why don't you look at the good news it is trying to tell you? When Jesus said, follow me - lay down your life for your neighbours, do you even give it a thought? If you seek errors you will surely find errors because your eyes will deceive you as it works in association with satan. But if you seek good while asking for Allah's help to make you see good, you will surely find good because He will bless you with wisdom to see good. So do you still prefer to see errors?
