Everyone knows that the flowmaster sound is the Classic mustang tone. I had a set of both Flows and Magnaflow on my 4.6L tbird, with headers high flow cats and custom piping, and i like the Magnaflow on the tbird better, but i love the roar of flows on the stangs, its the muffler placement, but this one def sounds good.
Got some haters out there, every other mustang sounds like its got freakin flowmasters on it, bet that is what you have ahall3sfest or you don't have a mustang at all and know nothing about them.
@SLOBRA2003 i have a UPR o/r x and a flowmaster catback. I think the o/r x and catback combo is the only way flows sound good. Still, i do know they are bad. performance wise, you gain horsepower by switching to other mufflers! Only reason it's still on the car is because it was brand new and came with car when i bought it. Though, i am ordering either a magnaflow or bassani catback this month to replace it. And you're right, fuckin everyone with a stang has flows.
This GT sounds freaking beast. all those others who are trying too get you too swtich exhaust notes* fuckem. enjoy what you have that has a perfect growl too it.
You need to get mac. Mac sounds great. Watch my video "mustang and f150 exhaust rev." And if you really want to know how to rev your car be sure to watch that video all the way through when the f150 revs.
its nice and loud but yea could def be louder, should go with the magnapacks with the o/r x pipe, longtube headers, you want loud thatll do it lol....i have flowmaster myself but my new motor and all ill have magnapacks
um it is my girls car.. but we both feel a diff. gets a little better gas too.. but my buddy owns a shop with dyno and did a custom tune threw the computer not the programmer and up the shift points and the hardness.. it will spin the tires goin to 2nd. its a automatic
i recommend the hyperpac chip by hypertech it gives way better results then the sct and really makes a difference i just got mine in yesterday and my car doesnt have alot of things on that imma about to put on so its gonna get even faster ill post vids prob mid jan or something once everything is installed on my car and my rims and tires and everything comes in and my allignement gets fixed
hey Im not saying it sounds bad...at least you have exhaust...i have a gt also an no exhaust but i love the flowmaster sound,although all gts do have flowmaster i agree

Go SLP LM's 1 with catted X. Its a step above the flowmasters, plus you won't have trouble with cops since you're running cats. Good luck!

Don't ever put SLP LM 1 exhaust on a Mustang, it sounds horrible! Get SLP LM 2 or Magnapacks. For the best sound get Borla Stingers!!!
