  • Thank you very much for uploading this. If the sinking of Luisitania marked the new age of war total warfare, what more now that we live in another century. I think Charles Voegele was blessed when he was imprisoned for mutiny until the end of the war. Better be jailed than participate in more murders.

  • I didn't even know this movie exised; I was just cruising YouTube to see what I could find on the Lusitania and came across this. I watched all 11 parts, it was really good and very interesting. Thanks for the upload!

  • good movie

  • a very good film.goes to show governments did what was best for them even as far back as nearly as century ago! not much has changed to this day. the lusitiana was a means to an end. bringing america into the war drastically changed the course of the war in our favour. maybe that is what they wanted? compared to the 21st century the 9/11 attacks may have been an excuse for america to go to war againts iraq and afghanistan and knowingly let the attack go ahead so they could have their retaliation

  • Watch "Dead in the Water"

    watch?v=Ujoc1DYjuPE&feature=PlayList&p=6C46A26B6EFB16B4&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=18

Look into 7 WTC, the building that collapsed and wasn't hit by a plane. Ask, how could a fire do that to a modern skyscraper?

  • What a wonderful and beautifully done film!

  • What Houlbourn said is true for some countries only. It depends on the situation.

  • i have respect for Charles Voegele he was not going to take part in mass murder. God Bless him. And May god give peace to Captain Turner. That poor man went through hell. He deserves peace.

  • True.

  • A very good depiction on bothsides of goverment. It seems bothsides were to blame. The cover up was upsetting to watch. At the end of the day ppls lives were taken short all because bothsides wanted to win the war. What a great film once again! Cheers for posting! =]

  • That is so true! Goverments protect themselves before the people! I hope they smarten up since the sinking of the Lusitania.

  • what a beautiful movie, I'm still so sad for people in elevators :( it has to be horrible, and I'm so happy for the man and blond girl's friendship,

    well bye!

  • @fenolimen Will add-that the man would later intoduce the girl to the man she would marry. That elevator scene bothers me too.

  • really enjoyed that, thanks mate

  • This reminds me of the Pearl Harbor cover up and how Admiral Kimmel and Lt. General Short were held responsible for the events occuring December 7th, 1941.

  • This film doesn't seem to be as popular as the movie Titanic, as I haven't seen copies of it in stores.

  • Titanic is a big budget Hollywood production with big Hollywood actors. This Television Movie was a co-op between BBC and Discovery Channel aimed at educating, not entertaining. It is sold on the Discovery Channel website.

  • I know but to me this one is more touching because the Titanic is more romace but since I'm not a big fan of that bug ,mushy romace

  • @TitanicExpert That's because this is more of a documentary. In fact, if I remember correctly, this film premiered on the Discovery Channel, not cinemas.

  • @iamhaochni That is right I saw it on the discovery channel

  • great movie!!

  • im glad captain turner was found not guilty

  • were can i find more info about charles voegele ? :]
