This sequel of the original was never accepted by those who saw and loved the original. There were almost none of the original actors who played in the original, which tells me that the producer, or director, or *someone*, SCREWED UP bigtime and made it so that none of the originals wouldn't participate. If you look throughout the history of sequels, you will find that, when the original cast is drastically changed, the movie is always a flop. WHAT did they do wrong? WHY did it fail so?

This sequel, as it is called, is actually what could be considered a second half of Micheal Ende's novel. This story was always part of the original concept.
