Big Hawg were first big gullet hole cutters and it is easy to cut a 5" hole in wood with cordless drill rated for max 2" hole saw. Battery life is 20x better too. We got 4 holes with cordless drills in MDF with new Lenox & DeWalt bi-metal hole saws - even carbide. Bosch are good when cutting MDF, OSB, cement board, plaster, Corian. We switched to Blue Boar TCT hole cutters that work with regular 2-pin arbors and 1/4" pilot bits. All work best on 0-1000 RPM setting using 3-speed gearbox drills.
I use the Milwaukee Big Hawg everyday at work for my 2" venting, it is honestly the best hole saw I have ever purchased. Milwaukee claims it can make 600holes before resharpening the tool. I believe it to be true.
I timed myself using my 8amp drill 850rpm. It took me 5 seconds to make it through 1.5" Wood header, 1/2" Wood sheathing, and .044 gauge aluminum siding. (try to avoid metals if possible)
this guy changes the torque on the gun . on the red bit the torque is set to low. the grey bit he sets it to hight, u can hear him torque the bit before hand also. what a tard.
The big hawg is only for rough in wood drilling...besides the 2x8 demo they should be comparing a regular carbide tipped hole saw against the their new bosch hole saw. That cinderblock chewed up the big hawg because the 3 teeth are tool steel not carbide and it's not designed to cut abrasives.
what I don't understand about this is why you compare bits designed to cut wood on masonry? the Milwaukee took you 7 seconds on the wood and 9 on the Bosch. It's like using a circ saw to cut bricks.
The Bosch is Carbide (and goes through everything) while the Milwaukee is not. That's why the Milwaukee is for wood only and also about half the price.
And learn how to hold a drill straight and firm, you quack.

The wood demo was funny! You would be shot after drilling all day with the bosh. Just buy the right tool for the job at hand and be done.

The hole saws are not just for wood. Carbide hole saws are designed to cut through almost any kind of building material.
