to be honest i like both the phantoms and the bluecoats...but the i would have to go with the phantoms ..yeah the bluecoats are good .but in entertainment...the phantoms are just way cleaner.

No. Not to mention,if we're using this video as a talking point.there are some fat rolls in there.I love phantom, I just hate how all the bandwagon fans jump on their dick as soon as they take drums, without even realizing that just because phantom writes an "easy clean" book and wins that they are not the greatest line in all the land haha...this is one more reason the scoring system is fucked..zero points for difficulty..easy clean wins every time

@TheRippdogg you cant use this video to judge snare rolls. Anything from the side like this sounds dirty. Also, if phantom has an "easy clean" book, so do the bluecoats.

@TheRippdogg though phantoms book may not have been the most difficult,the judging is not based on that.Phantom took top because what they played,how they marched and how they played worked with the overall show.This is what most dont understand.The judges pay attention to what the front ensemble and the rest of the corps does as well.I really think ego has alot to do with it too.Judges dont like testosterone being thrown around and phantom under rennick are very humble and modest.

As a drummer from the 70's -80's, way back when there were 26 rudiments, (now 40 + hybrids) watching the sticking, the uniformity to the smallest tap, the visual presentation, and how tight it *all* sounds is gives me wood and I'm a chick!! LOL

No matter how old you get, or far removed, this always get your blood pumping!

(first female "superior rating" on snare in my state, 1st on snare in my school history. "Who's the little guy" ? LOL) and we played corps style, not the usual.
