Imagine we discovered this was a business (say Walmart or Starbucks or IBM or Microsoft or Exxon) and they were raping children. Imagine if dozens of employees of this business in countries around the world were caught raping children. We wouldn't just imprison the rapists, we'd burn their business down! It's about time this came to light in Philly. One of my best friends committed suicide partly due to this abuse. Many boys / grown men live in terrible pain, when will priests & church stop this?! They must be in denial of the consequences. The church OWES these guys BIGTIME! Sadly i know guys who could have benefitted by the church reparations here in Boston, but couldnt bear the pain of reliving details in court.

I am embarrassed to say I am a Catholic. The church has thousands of priests that are rapists, a management team of bishops and popes that ignore the children that the priests have raped and hide the pedophiles.

Guess what if the Grand Jury Report was not published?.....Will the 21 priests suspected of child molestation be suspended? Why is the catholic church only taking action when pushed by the government authorities? Aren' they the party that has 1st hand information on the crimes committed by their priests ? If they are suspended for a certain period of time, they can be back to being priests again which I highly doubt will happen.
