@StewartLucrative the college might use a specific type of paper that others don't use maybe something with a trademark on it. Not sure, it would've made it more interesting if they specified the way they do on ferensic files.

@StewartLucrative since they're mechanical devices, they all break down, and they all break down differently. this means that there are very small indentations in the paper from passing between the roller and fuser, and different wear on different copiers produces a sort of "fingerprint" for each machine.
