it's true dsa swords hold an edge like no other. i battled though about 200 orks and a troll and the thing was as sharp as new. but seriously. amazing swords and a great deal too
I should have a review on this one soon (when US customs finally gives it back to me, very long story)... But from my impressions of it so far, it is easily one of the best value for money swords I have seen and offers a whole lot of steel for the money.
Wait till some time in early 2008. There will be some new products coming out then that I have been assured will meet all of your requirements, and then some... ;-)
Most are fairly easy to restore actually, and I have fixed up the majority back to almost as good as new (though time constrainst mean there are a few still in need of some TLC).
Does the sword have any flexiblity or is it very rigid on impact? Does it flex or just hit like an axe?

the second blow was more a blunt one then a cut. more akin to breaking it with a bat.

Yeah, as though anyone could expect a sword to cut through concrete the way they do in cartoons, lol.

Yeah, he has...2 more videos on this sword I think. Nice one.

I tested it sharp on a 55 Gallon drum, shows excellent edge retention...

On the second strike did you stop after impact or was the impact of the blow keeping you from going any further?

It was stopped after impact.
SwordBuyersGuide 4 years ago
Yeah I thought so, because that would be one strong sword if you only swing it halfway through.

Well, all the swords at my site are shipped direct from the manufacturer - so I don't think that plan is going to work. :-P

I was thinking about buying the sword from the sbg sword store site but I don't know if I will be able to find a place to sharpen it.

Hehe. Well, then no one would ever know how good or bad they are... Its my job to do all this so that YOU don't have to. ;-)
