His daughter, Maria, was hit by a car :( But he wrote this song before she was tragically killed, it reminds him of her though :..)

he adopted a daughter thats much youger than his bioligal daughter and one night that he was busy with work and his daughter kept bothering him to play with him and dance with him, so finally he did and while playing with her, he realized just how quick his older daughter grew up! but whats real sad is the daughter he wrote the song about ended up passing away unexpectedly! look him up, steven curtis chapman! he seems to be an amazing guy!

Actually, it was about his eldest daughter at first, then when Maria ( 1 of his 3 adopted daughters ) tragically got killed, he decided to have it about Maria instead.

umm...great video...really touching...but one thing...during the wedding verse...when they're dancing in the dressing room, the daughter is putting her hand at the dads waist and the dad at the daughters shoulder, it should be the other way.

That was great! I have some constructive criticism, though.

1. When the song says, "Wearing the weight of the world on my shoulders," the way he turns his head is really kind of creepy... It'd be better if you got a clip of him crying.

2. I missed the second verse, and it would be awesome if you could get some footage for that...
