  • Thanks so much flybreath! It was my pleasure to make this video!! Andrew Wyeth was a truly gifted artist!

I love Tea House Moon too...it really seemed to fit my mood as I put the Wyeth images together. :)

  • bluemoon093: Thank you so much for these amazing works of Andrew Wyeth & the calming music that accompanies this video. While the music is so familiar I cannot recall the name &/or artist. Can you help me out here? Thnx

  • Thanks so much for your nice comment dia.

The song is *Tea-House Moon* by Enya. Nice to know that you enjoyed the video...Andrew Wyeth was such an amazing and gifted artist!

  • bluemoon093: Of course, music accompanying this outstanding video is Enya's "Tea-House Moon" ! Mea culpa-found that had I simply watched your exceptional video to its end - I'd have realized that!

  • Thanks again dia. When I was listening to Tea-House Moon I immediately knew I wanted to use it with Wyeth. It fit so well in my mind! :)

  • Another very nice video! That was well worth switching to high quality. Talent, talent, talent.

  • Thank you saphistische! Yes, amazing talent. I love the simplicity of much of Andrew's subject matter. He has a gift for making one truly feel drawn in and included in his work.

  • Drawn in and included -- what an interesting way of putting it. I think that my reaction is purely to the subject matter and the quality of technique. It's as though he simplifies some aspects, yet adds texture to others. At 0:45 he has placed the window directly above her torso, and he has added texture and curves to the wall. (None of the other windows are like this.) He pulls the eye away from her, but he has used almost the same tones as her body - it unifies the image.

  • I absolutely love the picture at 0:45.

The texture and curves of the wall compliment the soft curves of the model. The similar color tones, as well as splashes of illumination beautifully unify the image. Wyeth's ability to capture and covney these qualities are a testament to his amazing talent.

  • Wonerful!!! Blue, Tender and Mellow.:D

  • Thanks Xia...glad you enjoyed this video. :)

  • Hi bluemoon. Other than the music, which I love, there is something very soothing about these works of art. Thanks. I really enjoyed this video.

  • Thank you ozzie! There is something quite special about Andrew Wyeth. I love the music too and thought it suited the images. :)
