Splendida e appagante interpretazione !!!!!! Thank you, dear friend Nikolaimedtner ! ! ! !
I have never heard of Brumberg before today. Have I been living under a rock? Does everyone else know of him but me? What a great gift!! This is top shelf musicianship, originality and piano playing. From what I have heard from this posting and others it seems that he plays this music and standard repertoir at a level that even most of our "piano gods" don't/didn't.
Wow! This version has so much more passion and power than Scherbakov's. As much as I like Scherbakov's it really is no comparison to this. Thank you so much for the post!
Wow, this is amazing. I've never heard such a beautiful interpretation. The supreme tone and the power of the musicality made me shiver. My heart melted when I heard this.
Ralf
I didn't know about this artist... This is amazing of beauty , power and finest of sound , poetry , breath...
I discover with the best pleasure all these recordings..(Liszt's 2dn Mephisto absolutly marvellous). No surprised to learn that he was student and assistant of genius Heinrich Neuhaus.... This is Russian in all his splendor... Music at the deepest level... Thanks a lot.
Fantastic! He was a vague name to me but i never imagined playing of such quality. Even with poor recorded sound the passion, urgency, full tone & attention to detail shines thru. I just listened to Medtner Dithyramb, was so excited, wanted to hear everythg else of his, didn't even have time to comment yet. Truly some of the finest artits get left out of the mainstream, for any number of reasons, here is evidence! Thank you so much for this.
Awesome!!! Fantastic music and playing, and I can hear the influence he had on you Mark, the spirit of it and beautiful sound that is also in your playing. Thank you for posting!
excellent !! I am humbled

Great to discover composers like this one. Love the Russian motivs. Some phrases reminds me of Chopin (revolution etude)

Thanks..
