Opinion polls indicate that the separatists are not the majority. Though this is probably why Salmond is waiting to have the referendum in 2014... in the hopes that the SNP can bolster enough support by then. With Cameron's current attitude that may well happen. However, if Cameron seriously wants to keep the country united he should stop talking down to the Scottish and let them get on with it whichever way they please.
