Interesting selections, but I'm having trouble with the 10 best label. Certainly there are worthy talents out working in obscurity that haven't gained attention that rate among these. Seems most of your selections have a lot of sexual subject matter. Not there is anything wrong with that.
Check out this painter. "Certainly there are worthy talents out working in obscurity" Tell me what you think of William Woods Higgins' paintings. "EYE OF ATLANTIS" is the video. It would be great to have a comment on the work. He lives in a small rural town and is not able to transport much. But his work has caught the eyes of some big wigs. Tell me what you think if you have time to watch.
@2099alex1 Thanks for your response. The work you mentioned is interesting but very derivative of earlier movements. The jam (Zeps, No Quarter), however, in this case is excellent. I could be wrong, and have been before, but unless he gets really lucky I think he''ll fade into oblivion.
Your like 20 years behind! This is not shocking anymore. There is nothing that shocks us anymore...accept beauty. Which is immensely more difficult to portray then this dribble.
it's pretentious in the first place to rank artist or number them down to a top 10 like they are racecar drivers or something. How did you select them, personal taste, sales?
Perhaps two of these might actually be original enough in style to qualify among some top ten list . The rest of these artists are simply re-hashing figurative cliches. Talented, perhaps, but lacking original creative vision.
@UNMIRED Agreed, I think the third one shown is the only one worthy. There are some other impressive ones that deserve recognition though. Which two do you think?
CRAP. BY WHO'S JUDGEMENT ARE THEY THE TOP 10, YOUR'S?

de balincort is a rip off Neo Rauch and few other painters who pre date his career before he picked up a brush. A good illustrator at best.
