try mississippi...so humid that you can barely sweat outside. but as soon as you go inside to air conditioning you sweat buckets, literally. horrible. im from out west and i prefer the dry heat...even if it gets to 100+, its better with low humidity compared to 100+ and near 100% humidity! and good thing you got away from that guy. ive sped off before because i hadnt felt comfortable with someone too close to me. better to slow down on a slower road, but on a highway you usually cant!

The roadways are filled with people who are on the edge of lashing out at any moment. Maybe he just got laid off... or worse.

Never make any kind of "contact" with another motorist (today) while moving. Your life could change forever before you know what hit you.

Oh, but wearing gear is a huge plus for us women: anonymity. I can't imagine how many more guys would give us a hard time if they could tell it was a chick on a bike. And when cagers act squirrely or aggressive around me (and you can tell they're trying to provoke you), I always turn off at the next street.

One guy ran a red because he was distracted by honking and revvin' his truck at me with all his buddies laughing. It was one of those camera sensor intersections, too. Oh snap. ;-)

Tailgating is a huge problem here in Chicago. Cars do it to each other and cars do it to motorcycles. Sometimes flashing my brakes helps when I get someone on my tail, but not always.

Those times in heavy traffic when I get stuck at a lane merge having to zip in front of someone, I always glance over my shoulder afterwards and give them an apologetic left-hand-palm-back-and-open gesture to let them know I wasn't trying to be aggressive. Works 10 out of 10 times. Those peeps never tailgate.

Yeah, sometimes you gotta decide whether to blast open the throttle to get away from someone like that or slow down and let em pass. I usually nail the throttle and get the hell out of there, then get off the highway at an upcoming exit.

I had a guy in a truck at night while I was riding with my two buddies pass us going about 20mph faster than us (probably like 30mph over limit) and cut us off. Literally almost hitting my two friends. I chased him and brighted him and he slammed on his brakes and tried to get me to run into him. Then he wouldn't let me pass him so I had to pass him on the shoulder. Lots of idiots out there! I'm also going to start carrying something in my pockets for these d-bags

sorry but i found that video quite frustrating, cause i usually filter through traffic. I know some bikers dont... but in my opinion thts one of the main advantages of a bike.

2. Pull over to the side of the road and let him pass. Get his plate # and call the Police.
