The constituents of his states end up getting the short end of the stick because you can;t really devote your time to both . @psillyguava you are a disillusioned Dem or unaffiliated, and you live in one of 18 or more closed primary states , U will not be able to vote Ron Paul in the critical primary! Some states are : AZ,CT,CO,DE,FL,OR,OK,NE,NC,SD,UT,NY,PA,LA,KY,WV,DC, AND MORE .Do not be cheated out of a vote,don;t cheat Ron Paul out of the nomination .The primary is where it counts -it determines the nomination .

He reminds me of a phony TV evangelist who likes to prey on little old ladies and swindle them out of their money in the name of charity. Sounds like a consummate politician to me .The shocking part is that he is so high in the ( contrived ? ) polls, as he has never debated . I have been getting into some discussing with a youtuber who talks about Ron Paul being racist from old newletters he supposedly wrote ,although Dr. Paul denies authorship. I certainly don't see him as a racist but wondering what the people of TX think ?

@freba91 It's good that you are informed ! From minute one , after hearing Perry speak , I got a bad vibe . Sometimes it is wise to just trust your instincts.I also get a lot of people arguing with me when I try to post what I know about Ron Paul.For as many people who support him ardently , as I do,there is a faction who seems to hate him. So many people calling me names - it's kind of discouraging , but why feed trolls? I don't answer people who start swearing or name calling - why bother ?

@freba91 It's a shame that there are not some guidelines/laws in place when a governor decides to campaign for the Presidency . The constituents of his states end up getting the short end of the stick because you can;t really devote your time to both . I read that Perry cut the fire dept budget - not sure if that is true , but if so, that was a foolish move. Public safety has to be the first priority.

I agree that it will be a huge mess for anyone to fix but , although I can't standa Bush, all Obama did was to spend more ,and make a bigger mess . I doubt 10% of people saw the debate-most will read about it ( skim it ) and assume only Perry and Romney were in the debate . All an uphill struggle but I just keep trying to spread the Ron Paul message . I don;t even know why anyone would want to be Pres !

@freba91 Yes, it is Merck that manufactures /distributes Gardisil , the vaccine that Perry was trying to force on young girls. It 's always about $ - I always say " follow the money trail" and then you usually will cut to the chase on matters . The drug is supposed to vaccine against HPV, human pappiloma virus , - some strains can cause cancer in later live .
I'm not a fan of drugs , in general , unless a last resort . Generally,more bad side effects than treats the disease !

@freba91 There's a LONG way to go before the election. There will be many front runners before it is finally decided who will be on the November , 2012 ticket - hopefully it will not be Perry . If Ron Paul is not on the ballot, I'll write him in like I did last time - it might be a "throw away " vote , but at least I'll feel good by voting my conscience . I hope things get better in Tx for you - it's a shame they are allowed to go off campaigning,leaving the state in the lurch .

@freba91 no death penalty in my state >Recently , a young girl who worked with my son was murdered - no suspects. I think i would want,if not revenge, at least justice. Life imprisonment and executions cost millions of taxpayer dollars, but I just read a Readers Digest article yesterday of a man wrongly imprisoned for 27 yrs ! Imagine if he were executed ?So, I guess I am against the death penalty because too many wrongful arrests later proven innocent with DNA

@freba91 Thanks - I found a view of the videos and watched them .Never heard that story before - I guess living in Texas it was huge news . There are pros and cons with the death penalty - I understand people wanting justice for the murders of their loved ones, but there have been too many innocent people convicted , later proven innocent with DNA testing .So,I guess I have to oppose the death peanlty in general . Even one innocent death is too many .
