@BloodyFingerz Theres no comparison between the 2. This half wall was quite dissapointing, but thats because I didnt seal it off at all. A lot of the sound went to the trunk area. The wall got way louder hit harder and lower. And looked a lot better.

It will get the job done. The btl can handle more. I was running 1 brutus 2000 to my 18 btl and it was a decent set up. Could set off car alarms for quite a ways away

don't get a hifonics brutus 2000. i had one for my 2 mtx 9500's wired parallel but a btl can def handle more because regardless the hifonics only pushes out 1300 watts rms of clean power. wasn't even enough for my 9500s. I hope you plan on getting batteries.

Yeah i bump my 12's WAY loud. and they get warm and so do the amps. Im on the verge of poppin em. I want a system where i can rock it loud and not worry everytime about how hot they are. Like i play my music and havta pull over n see how hot they get sometimes because im scared. lol. Im gunna do a wall also in my expedition behind the second row. middle port. rear amp rack inset with maybe a nice thick plexi material covering the amps with blue neons all around inside.

With no options 2000 rms. Fully loaded most common is 3000 but then u have meade running like 4500-6600 watts to one rms

Like i said before i put it there because i needed more space cuz my trunk is very small. As far as this box goes its tuned to right around 34 Hz...But i dont know i think i messed something up on the disign on this box it doesnt hit the certain notes very good were it did in the trunk. But it hits the highs and lows good.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but... I think the reason that you are not hitting all of the notes that you want to hit is because it is a linear tuned box. You have tuned the box to perform it's best at 34hz... When you had a box in the trunk, you had less air space which in turn allows puts more back pressure on the sub and on the vent, giving you a different range. I am sure that when you built the box for your trunk you included the size of the trunk in your calculations???
