Rule 2 of not being a Huntard: Dont Backpedal , pls pls pls. Backpedaling is 50% speed, simply turn at right angle to the movement direction of mob and strafe away right or left whatever direction takes you away, that keeps you at 100% spped like moving forward and also you can shoot the target with instant shots from the side like from the front. .

Growl is good in PvP. It gets pets (warlock pets, and hunter pets) off of softies. Since they are AI, they act like a regular mob. They wont refocus their target onto the original target untill the player retargets the player and tells to pet to attack it.
Incase this doesn't make any sense, say there's a Hunter Horde, Alliance Mage, and you, the Alliance Hunter. The Horde Hunter sends his pet to attack the mage. You use your pet's growl to get the Horde's pet to attack your pet, thus giving the mage space to DPS the hunter or any other players that may be around. It's effective. Try it!
@Steveisamonkeyninja a level 10 hunter should not know this stuff already as they have only started playing ( unless they have an alt) and at level 10 you only just get your pet, you dont know how the hell to use effectively for atleast a couple more levels and again, if they have an alt then they probably do know how to use it effectively

From a tank POV, there could be situations where it's difficult to get aggro immediately, so growl should be off. There's no reason to have it on, like the guy said, but if the hunter doesn't know how to turn it off *cough* you ned to reconsider who you're grouping with.
In my opinion, Beast Mastery is the best leveling/endgame spec for hunters, since it puts power to the pet and helps keep it alive in fights. In leveling, BM (and using a tenacity pet, such as the gorilla) keeps the aggro off of you while increasing your pets HP and armor, your healing abilities to the pet, and giving you access to the loveable Bestial Wrath. Combined with Rapid Fire/Trinkets/Serpent's Swiftness, you DPS will be off the charts, even comparing with mages.
umm there is actually a very good excuse for using growl in pvp, when u and another hunter r fighting, your pe sould growl the enemys pet so its dps is on the pet rather than you, and any good pvp hunter knows it, so u are stupid.
if he sends the pet on you continually it wont work, and if you're going to bash him on just that and say he fails you're a fucking dick monkey...you sir have no fucking clue.

Well m8, Throughout WoW the main hunter spec for lvling has always been BM because you can keep distance on your target since your pet can out-aggro your dps. Now that Wotlk is out, most hunters have specced SV for every use that exists now. SV is best steady dps now, and you can down most mobs before they even touch you because of the insane dps. But that only really helps once you have reached the 51-point talent Explosive Shot.
Leveling- BM, PvP- Marksman or Survival, PvE-(SV Prefered) GL =)
One more thing you could do a video about: Trapping and re-trapping. I see loads of hunters still turning huntard because of the simple fact they don't know how to re-trap a mob properly.

I have few points here:
First point: I see you play horde. You got all the cool races.. Tauren, Orcs, Trolls, even male blood elves (a bit gay though) can be hunters.. And you chose a female blood elf? How can you not be ashamed standing in a group of Taurens/Orcs/Trolls/Undead? I don't get that.. at all..
Second point: You suck at hunters honestly. I did the shoot-run in-melee-shoot-repeat strategy too.. Sucks for PVP. Also, killing NPCs is easy. PVP with hunters is hardest Sucks IMO, shemale

2nd... Yes he does suck at hunters... and that "Strategy" does suck. Hunters are pretty much the best class to PVP with in a battleground. They suck hard in arena, however.
True that Tauren hunters fail, but I discovered that male blood elf hunters are kinda cool... With good hair style and good color, you can even make them not gay, but cool!
I own in arena.. In my case, Hunters are good at basically everything but ooohhhh in BGs? I'm the king, lol.
Actually, night elves would be a better pulling race. Due to the simple fact that they have Shadowmeld. And the hunter should never have to stun any mobs. Especially 70+ due to misdirection.
kitting is very simple, as a hunter has 3x main slow skills to aid him. you can wing clip first, concussive shot into the trap, decreasing the cd on your next trap, rinse repeat. "zman" kill command should not be on your hotbar, but rather in your shot rotation. google bm hunter 3:2 shot macro. and Schnookumms, its easy, "Bestial Wrath" i kill rouges every day and cook em over a fire.
chase03311, if you are ever in a group that needs to blame someone, epic fail. Furthermore, this is a good video, and it covers all the good tips -1, for hunters with boars, in an instance, charge is not worth it. it uses the ammount equal 2 2x gores (the attack skill that you can train from a ravager) so even a good charge which adds dps, doesnt add the same ammount the 2x attacks can, with the chance of gore doing dbl damage + crit.

Orbas88 your a retard try killing a hemo rogue as an MM hunter. Or a warrior for that matter. Play it as you say and stand still you wil do about 1500-2000 damage to the other player. Even if you do kite a rogue will always catch you and wars can charge. Hunter is imo one of the hardest to accell in PvP. NO IMUNITIES and mail armor. Rogues get vanish, cloak of shadows, evasion sap, blind, sprint, and crip poison. Its almost laughable. How can a hunter avoid all thoes?
great video, all you hunters out there that cant do the turn around in mid air shot here is my easy effective way to do it. run through the enemy and wingclip, then strife while doing instant casts, you maintain the same speed as running straight and you are able to shoot them. nice video thanks alot!

Hunters take NO skill to play, target a mob, send in a pet, stand still and hit 2-3 buttons, perfect class for people started the game and dont know how to use other classes, thats about as far as they go, most useless class in game.
The problem with Wing Clip is that it can be parried but more seriously with lag you will have problems with other player toons who are moving as they can "move" out of wing clip "range" during its cast.
Which is why you see some hunter circle the other player so as to avoid this lagged "failure" of Wing Clip.
Phil30k orcs Axe expertise is your friend when wing clipping... ppl always say orcs Bloodfury owns pvp etc, all clueless the only 2 racials that orcs have for pvp are (imo) 1. Axe expertise(the best) and 2. Hardiness (all hunters can get 20% ressist chance on movement impairing effects and 5% ressist on stunn. orcs can get 20% ressist on stunn) the added pet damage and Bloodfury are amusing but they are more suited for PvE.
Sadly I rolled a nightelf for the shadowmeld/prowl synergy.
Anyway, I live in Asia and I find WOW unplayable due to lag/latency and the bugs inherent in the game as well I don't like the way the game is arbitrarily changed. I'm giving it a miss for now.

Well m8, Throughout WoW the main hunter spec for lvling has always been BM because you can keep distance on your target since your pet can out-aggro your dps. Now that Wotlk is out, most hunters have specced SV for every use that exists now. SV is best steady dps now, and you can down most mobs before they even touch you because of the insane dps. But that only really helps once you have reached the 51-point talent Explosive Shot.
Leveling- BM, PvP- Marksman or Survival, PvE-(SV Prefered) GL =)

It increases pet damage by 75% and each successful melee attack decreases this bonus by 25% until it's back to normal.

I have few points here:
First point: I see you play horde. You got all the cool races.. Tauren, Orcs, Trolls, even male blood elves (a bit gay though) can be hunters.. And you chose a female blood elf? How can you not be ashamed standing in a group of Taurens/Orcs/Trolls/Undead? I don't get that.. at all..
Second point: You suck at hunters honestly. I did the shoot-run in-melee-shoot-repeat strategy too.. Sucks for PVP. Also, killing NPCs is easy. PVP with hunters is hardest Sucks IMO, shemale

2nd... Yes he does suck at hunters... and that "Strategy" does suck. Hunters are pretty much the best class to PVP with in a battleground. They suck hard in arena, however.

True that Tauren hunters fail, but I discovered that male blood elf hunters are kinda cool... With good hair style and good color, you can even make them not gay, but cool!

Actually, night elves would be a better pulling race. Due to the simple fact that they have Shadowmeld. And the hunter should never have to stun any mobs. Especially 70+ due to misdirection.

u dont always need your pet on "the same target" i use my pet to kill 1 guy/trap one and kite 1 when i see multiple mobs

kitting is very simple, as a hunter has 3x main slow skills to aid him. you can wing clip first, concussive shot into the trap, decreasing the cd on your next trap, rinse repeat. "zman" kill command should not be on your hotbar, but rather in your shot rotation. google bm hunter 3:2 shot macro. and Schnookumms, its easy, "Bestial Wrath" i kill rouges every day and cook em over a fire.

chase03311, if you are ever in a group that needs to blame someone, epic fail. Furthermore, this is a good video, and it covers all the good tips -1, for hunters with boars, in an instance, charge is not worth it. it uses the ammount equal 2 2x gores (the attack skill that you can train from a ravager) so even a good charge which adds dps, doesnt add the same ammount the 2x attacks can, with the chance of gore doing dbl damage + crit.

Orbas88 your a retard try killing a hemo rogue as an MM hunter. Or a warrior for that matter. Play it as you say and stand still you wil do about 1500-2000 damage to the other player. Even if you do kite a rogue will always catch you and wars can charge. Hunter is imo one of the hardest to accell in PvP. NO IMUNITIES and mail armor. Rogues get vanish, cloak of shadows, evasion sap, blind, sprint, and crip poison. Its almost laughable. How can a hunter avoid all thoes?

great video, all you hunters out there that cant do the turn around in mid air shot here is my easy effective way to do it. run through the enemy and wingclip, then strife while doing instant casts, you maintain the same speed as running straight and you are able to shoot them. nice video thanks alot!

The problem with Wing Clip is that it can be parried but more seriously with lag you will have problems with other player toons who are moving as they can "move" out of wing clip "range" during its cast.
Which is why you see some hunter circle the other player so as to avoid this lagged "failure" of Wing Clip.

Phil30k orcs Axe expertise is your friend when wing clipping... ppl always say orcs Bloodfury owns pvp etc, all clueless the only 2 racials that orcs have for pvp are (imo) 1. Axe expertise(the best) and 2. Hardiness (all hunters can get 20% ressist chance on movement impairing effects and 5% ressist on stunn. orcs can get 20% ressist on stunn) the added pet damage and Bloodfury are amusing but they are more suited for PvE.

Sadly I rolled a nightelf for the shadowmeld/prowl synergy.
Anyway, I live in Asia and I find WOW unplayable due to lag/latency and the bugs inherent in the game as well I don't like the way the game is arbitrarily changed. I'm giving it a miss for now.
