Gilch30 is right! I suck at spelling those common names. And it was 1981, not 1989! I should hae remembered that. It was the last time I went ice-fishing. But, it was the best Super Bowl, 'Hacksaw' and all! We were really pulling for Anderson here in Iowa.
We don't get a lot to cheer about, especially now that we're in a full depression! So, we're pulling for Burlington boy, Kurt Warner this year. We need some good news, man!
As the celebrated their victory, among the madness, Ken Anerson, quarterback from little Augustana college in Iowa, after losing the biggest game of his life, carried his little son off the field. Showed what a good man Anerson is, and it put a lot of the "hoopla" into perspective
I believe you are speaking of Ken Anderson, not Anerson. Second, that was from the 1981 season, not the 1988 season this video is chronicling. Boomer Esiason was the QB for the Bengals at this point

James Brooks was the real leader of that team. He should have been interviewed for the Missing Rings project that NFL films did.

Game was 20 years ago, but with Mike Brown as owner it may as well be 200. Sigh.
