The only thing "amature" is YOU jack-knob. Since the highlight of your life involves bicycles, it's no wonder why you don't know dick about cars. DUH!!!
Which must be why all the pro's use autos, huh? I guess the guys who make millions racing for a living are dumbasses, while the few who drive sticks but don't make shit are the REAL smart ones, right? LMAO
@gnrfan32 you are an idiot. You know nothing about racing. Manuals are best suited for road courses and auto's for drag strips. An i bet you'd brake rev an auto for a race thinking its like a manual
ur right, i DONT know much about racing, but what i do know is its much easier to brake rev than to pop ur clutch, u dont have to worry about stalling or having ur clutch slip.
once again, the point im trying to get across is that it takes more of a professional to take off & shift on a manual,
well if your street racing brake rev will only hurt your launch with a newer car because of the electronics taking over, best to lighty apply brake and mash gas at start
@gnrfan32 Not to burst your bubble ,but in drag racing is is better to use and auto. You are going through the gears so fast that you lose time dealing with a clutch. Therefore, you lose the race.
Now in track racing I will completely agree with you. When going into a turn you want to rev match and let the car do some of the slowing that way when you come out of it you are ready to go. Track racing and drag racing are two very different beasts. But both require a lot of skill/ No doubt about it.
what a wicked car. great job on making that a winner!!!

this is a dumb thing to be arguing over, you dont even understand what im trying to say.
this arguement is over
gnrfan32 2 years ago
Well, you're right about that. What you're saying makes no sense. Your dream car must be a 5 speed Mustang, huh?
1badcbr1k 2 years ago
No actually, i believe that american cars r shit, compared to imports, but thats a whole different arguement that i do not want to get into.
Probably a 5 speed evo.
