  • I'm fairly certain the balance wheel isn't meant to wobble about like that

  • Balance on spring wheel is woobeling.....

  • how can fake be "good"? If its fake its not as good otherwise the maker would have his own expensive watch company

  • @DunxMeister That's a point I was also thinking about. I have a Breitling, a fake, but it runs very good, it looks very good and the parts are so delicate and beautiful - there must also be a lot of experience and knowledge in it that I ask myself, why are those people not having their own watch making company?

  • That balance is so out of true and poise the positional accuracy is going to be horrible at best. Then again, if you're buying a fake Breitling timekeeping isn't going to be the selling point anyway. The finish looks better than the old fakes.

  • I´m not an expert in expensive watches but I bought a Breitling Windrider B13047 on ebay a few days ago. It is a real Breitling that´s absolutely sure because I was at a Breitling dealer to ask him if my watch is genuine or not.

But it was very hard to find a real Breitling on ebay in the middle of all those fake watches. There are very good fakes out there and only an expert can tell you it is a real one or not.

Always went to an authorisized dealer if you are not sure about the authenticity.

  • @ganimed1976 Um it's a little late to take it to a dealer AFTER you bought it.

  • @flatpat Yes, but if you buy something on ebay, there is always a certain risk. On ebay you´ll get the goods only by advance payment. That´s your risk.

  • The balance wheel is oscillating, you can see the small spring behind it expand and contract as you would expect. The wheel that is turning slowly is it not the escapement? Anyway I think this movement is an actual working movement. I make no judgement on quality however, but does not look bad.

  • lol. the balance wheel isn't even oscillating, just spinning very slowly...

  • Well, if you have enough money to spend on genuine watches I'm sure it won't be any problem to spend 5000 - 10.000 € for a high quality breintling, rolex, tissot and so on...but if you don't, there are 2 possibilities:

1.You don't buy high ranked watches at low price cause you know it's replica , so you focus on other companies (like CASIO, SWATCH, CITIZEN, Q&Q)-very good watches,(some of them are very good looking)

2.: RE-Orientate!Don't buy things that you can't afford it!

  • fake piece of shit...i hate these cheap ass replica's!!!

  • @siliconsurf I

     Hate ALL replicas

  • couldnt fid the web site.

  • This one is very common one. You should see the balance wheel did not spin nicely. If it were made nicely, it would not spin unbalanced. Keep a closer look!

  • @tamyk007 that's a wobbly spindle

  • @siliconsurf I noticed that too. Wonder who much time that movement will last ... weeks, months? XD

  • @siliconsurf

I'm surprised that all of you professional watchmakers came to this youtube video when you obviously could spend your time better by cleaning and adjusting Breitling and Rolex watches.

why don't you amateurs shut up. you don't know a real watch from a fake and you are just trying to impress us with your fantastic insight and wisdom. Konw nothings are just that.
