Yes, the Delfonics were wonderful. So were the Moments and the Stylistics and the Spinners. This was real soul music, not the crap being marketed as "R&B" today. Why aren't they making records like this anymore? Thom Bell, where are you now that we need you!?

Right now in My mind , I am sailing home from Vietnam Aboard a Navy warship. I picked this album up in HongKong along with a Battery Powered turtable and a couple of Suits. We wore suites back then. I sit on the Fantail(back of the ship) and play this over and over until the batteries run out. I thought I was coming home to My girl friend I left, but that wasn't supposed to happen. But the negative turned into a positive fast. I could have gotten a dear John U know over seas. ha ha

I saw them in concert when I was 12 years old. I was about 15 feet from the stage. I'm 53 now. I grew up singing in talent shows. They were one of my favorite groups. One of the most underrated R&B/Soul groups. To me they just happen to be the best! With their great body of work-they should of been inducted into the hall of fame already. I hope someday soon they get in.
in philly, in the summer time,we used to block the streets in the morning.turn on the water plug and each neighbor would clean their part of the street..there was a girl on my block that i was crazy about..30 years later...im still crazy about her....
