Roxas X Xion doesn't really work since Xion was made from sora's memories just like Roxas was made fro sora's heart...So basically Roxas would just love himself....LULZ. .. All this time I have avoided using cutscenes from the Days in my videos, because I've feared that I'd dull the feeling they hold with overusing them. I am kind of 'saving' it till the translated version comes, then the scenes will have even more feeling - but now, I just burst in tears when I saw this. I find it funny that when a character dies, it's everyone's favorite cause it's so sad or something. I don't like or hate Xion. Because it doesn't take death for me to like a character, just the impression. So her overall personality was kind of bland to me, and all the wangst isn't exactly pleasing. Nothing, but a plot device too. To be perfectly honest, I found Repliku's character to be much more sympathetic and sadder.

If you're sure, I'll tell you. Contrary to popular belief, Xion isn't any Kairi. Or Naminé.

"She" is a Sora Replica made of his sampled memories. Due to the events in CoM, with his memories shattered, you know Sora recovers in the pod to get them back. But, with Xion being a memory replica of his, instead of the memories returning to him, it leaks into her. The reason the resemblance is like that of Kairi is because those leaking memories contain those OF Kairi.

Xion is a unique type, unlike Riku Replica who was made normally. Xion does take forms by herself, I believe, or depending on who's seeing her. She's a blank doll, in the technicality of things. And she can take appearances, considering she's memories really, to anything that somehow relates to Sora. I like to compare it to an illusion, kind of.

It never says HOW Xion is made. Ask Vexen xD. I'm just guessing the same way we are made of cells, she's made of memories as her basis *shrug*.

However, Xion only takes the form of the dark haired Kairi to some. In the game, you see her switching from being hooded, to not hooded to those she trusts and is friendly with automatically. Being foremost a replica of Sora with his memories, it causes others to witness different things connected TO Sora. Xigbar, for example, sees Xion as Ven. Xemnas sees Xion as Ven too, and her "true nature" (which I'm not sure means Sora, or a blank doll like she truly is, no gender or anything)

In the case of Roxas, since Days is HIS game, we see, what he sees. And he views Xion as the "dark haired girl". Which is why we get that for the majority. Axel, sees that as well through connection with Roxas.

By the end of the game, as Xion gets more of Sora's leaking memories to near completion, she becomes young Sora. Or is able to turn into him. I'm not certain whether by that point she can control whatever forms she wishes.

The POINT in the end is, that Sora, Roxas, and Xion are technically the same people =P. One is the real one, one is his Nobody, and the other is a Replica of him composed of his memories. Being made of memories, Xion crystallizes (crystals are a theme in Square Enix games that represents memories) as she dies, and returns to her place.
