The thing about illadelph is they look really nice and are very very VERY nice to hit, but it's until you buy a roor and have it with you day by day you'll realised why they are so hyped up. a group of friends bought me a lil sister for my leaving pressent and its just so perfect and solid and they hits feel nicer tbh. still my illadelph is also sturdy and hits fine its my party piece. just my opinion on the whole illadeph - roor fued. keep it real.

Wouldn't go that far either. Have you seen the Peyote pillar hollowfoots? They're easily over a grand with a beaker bottom base. Also I wouldn't say Illadelph is China glass at all. They're a great company with a quality prodo line, just high priced for nothing spectacular. I don't think I've EVER seen an Illa fixed stem tube, which really limits their options on diffusion. Illadelph makes the same tubes over and over, in different colors, while toro/sg make circs, showerheads, etc

They're expensive, they break easily, they're an awful sight when dirty, they're hard to hide, tricky to clean..I just got sick of it. I definitely agree with you now that this shit is insanely over-priced. Glad I got the Volcano,now I can focus more on the different strains and tastes of bud and become a connoisseur.
