Played Lufia 1 when it came out 15+ years ago. Liked it back then. Played Lufia 2 on Emulator, without knowing it was the prequel beforehand. Maaaan was I sad when I figured it out... .

best and most underrated SNES-Games of all times... all share sad stories of fear, redemption, faint but also hope ;) ... if games today would have more message than just good grafics. youngsters wouldnt go round doing trouble!!!!

The Lufia games are awesome, especially in story and music, II doesn't has the best gameplay ever, but it's still great.

I like Chrono Trigger/Cross or some FF's better but Lufia is and will always be one of the best series of games ever.

Lufia II is not perfect in terms of gameplay, but it's far and away my favorite game of all time. The music isn't just beautiful, it's so full of emotion and love. And the storyline isn't just an awesome fantasy story...it's a symbolic illustration of the value of human life and the power of love.

Lufia II's designers really made the game for this reason: to get out a moral that everyone needs to know. It just so happens to be a great game too, but that's just secondary.

Yeah, I enjoyed it a lot. I don't think its quite up to Chrono Trigger/Final Fantasy level, but it definitely has its own unique charm.

well lufia isnt really the emotional type of rpg like secret of mana. but it just replaces all that with pure awesomness :D
