  • whoever made this video of this awesome bird is an asshole

  • @revenge219 Woah... no need to explode there. It's just a commercial. It's no big deal. It's just a dog.

  • Macaws are way smarter than dogs anyday.

  • Beautiful bird. They're super smart, requires lots of time, attention & are expensive 2 keep. They're like living with a fulltime juvenile delinquent & can live longer than us so provisions need 2 b made 4 them just like our human children)Rescues can b a great place 2 adopt any animal b it bird dog cat horse. Most rescues like pounds r full. B4 you adopt a bird, do ur research, learn everything u can & remember many rescues r surrendered bcuz they already have issues from previous owners.

  • Hehe, cool ;D

  • Now I want a macaw, if it means it can be trained to fetch!

  • @girly10az They certainly can. I find my blue and gold to be easier to train than my neighbors labrador!

She spreads her wings on command, waves goodbye complete with sound, gathers blocks in a box or takes them out on command, and she is starting to pick up on the names of colours.

  • I would give that macaw a BBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGG cuddle!!!!

  • Gorgeous bird. After watching a few blue and gold macaws, I'm starting to think maybe my next bird should be a macaw instead of an african grey.

  • ooh noooooo soooooo irressistable , soooooooooooooo adoreable

  • you can train parrots to do stuff like this

  • your the one who is lazy that bird tried so hard and u say ur perfetic at least it can talk more like dogs they just bark.

  • i renamber this

  • pathetic is the lazy shit on the chair

  • Id take that bird over a dog ANYDAY. Poor bird

  • no he is not this bird is awsome.

  • 1question please answer how much did you buy the macaw for

  • @KrazyKurd05 Never think of such birds in the matter of cost alone. What will cost you more than money, is time you need to spend with them and the sort of dedication it takes to care for a parrot. Parrots from a rescue shelter can be fairly inexpensive, versus buying from a breeder. But overall, just remember that they can sometimes require more attention than a cat or dog, are considerably louder and can become very aggressive.

  • @carebearnmbr46 mine loves dog biscuits but its more the texture for them and color : ) she likes red

  • ofcourse he;s not a dog it a parrot you silly bun

  • wonderful <3

  • Poor bird! It's not pathetic!

  • haha the macaw is cute....and when the man said,"You're pathetic" i loled and felt sorry for the bird

  • I love this commerical! The parrot is soooooooooooo Adorable!

  • hahaha funny! XD

  • This video is too funny!!! Thanks for the post!

  • I don't want to be a dog ... but I'd love to have one...

  • This is a beautiful bird.

    About the subject...

Unfortunately there are so many of these birds for adoption. I adopted my bird. I am caring for it now and giving as much time and care as possible. If the damage is done, all we can do is adopt and care. What else? at least I will not breed mine.

  • hehe....wat a smart bird.

  • I would walk that bird anyday

  • exactly

  • @MercedesCars454 i want sell one... i am tired of him...he is so loud

  • Comment removed

  • cut bird but the man is so mine you was it just for the vid

  • ''All exotic birds for sale are bred from specimens illegally trapped''

depends what you meen by this... yes originally they would have been in the UK, like pythons, turtles etc.. what are not native to britain

however, the majority of macaws bred are now captive bred and from reputable breeders...dont be discouraged from buying one what has been captive bred...although they are hard to look after and a BIG commitment so doing so should not be taken lightly

  • Gosh, I couldn't have said those lines. D:

    I would have started crying.

    Or cuddling the bird.

    :D

  • that guy is an ass, that bird should take a crap in his coffee. :)

  • awesome

  • awesome!

  • Lol

  • he's not a dog, he's better than a dog..

  • what is the price of one young male macaw?

  • alot

  • mine was 2500

hes a green winged macaw, hes an awesome, sweet bird

  • Please do not think about buying an exotic bird. All exotic birds for sale are bred from specimens illegally trapped abroad and smuggled into the country under hellish conditions. Exotic birds live decades and cost tens of thousand of dollars to keep. The only responsible way to acquire an exotic bird is through a bird rescue. They can tell you if you have the financial and social resources to care for a bird.

  • You make some good points, although I can't say I agree with all of them. While it's true, birds were trapped abroad, that's true no longer. They've really cracked down on animal smuggling.

All responsible breeders and owners will only buy and breed from captive bred. They can live for over 50 years. And they do cost a lot. Bird rescues are not always the best place to go and not the best place to start if you have no experience.

  • Think of birds like children. It's expensive, and a lifetime commitment. If you can't handle children, I doubt you can handle a macaw. I have a baby Hahn's, who's a mini macaw and more work than a 2 year old. Having said that, he's a wonderful companion who's brought so much joy and love into my life. I couldn't imagine life without him.

Rather than telling everyone that everything's evil about bird breeding, encourage them to learn and think things through carefully.

  • I disagree, i know for a fact that smuggling

is still going on because i was aprotched to buy one and was told how it came in the country

  • "All exotic birds for sale are bred from specimens illegally trapped abroad and smuggled into the country under hellish conditions."

What a crock. Most birds, nowadays, are from domestically-raised birds who were born into captivity, at least here in the U.S. To make a blanket statement like that is not only wrong, it's also inflammatory.

Yes, do your research. These birds are expensive to purchase and maintain. Remember, tho', not ALL rescues are good, and not all breeders are irresponsible.

  • Sweet! Rationalization par excellence here: 'Because a bird's parents and grandparents were specifically born in captivity that bird is not bred from contraband.' And, "Because some rescues suck, it's ok to give money to someone that is intentionally breeding a wild animal for the leisure and entertainment of people in their homes.'

Again, ALL exotic birds are bred from contraband and ALL breeders are... if not irresponsible... responsible.

  • HEY YOU FLYING FUCK NUT

the exotic bird trade is not going to stop, now, i'd rather have the certainty of having a loved bird at home, rather than having a caged bird outside of home, if you only buy from reputable breeders, than you can be sure that the birds are not being abused.

  • @pauua $800-$1500 from breeders or $300-$500 from rescues, but rescues usually have older birds.

  • omg dats so cute lol

  • i saw a bird coller once...
