  • i waited over night just to be safe, this is awesome! Looks gross tastes awesome!

  • Guys, it's unbeliveable how good it tastes. it's like pudding with celery... lol Yea, it looks yucky, but it tastes like heaven.

  • alright well i just made this stuck it in my fridge about 2 & 1/2 hr ago, will comment again in a little while to taste ! =D

  • looks like the flavors will blend wonderfully!

  • good god. Aunt Myrna needs to be institutionalized, this is insanity. Awful

  • I know you should make your own whip cream :D thx

  • Hey Jack why not make your own Whipped cream?

  • coool:)

  • OMG IM TOTALLY GONNA MAKE THIS!!!

  • Actually Jack that doesn't look beautiful at all. But since you enjoy it, it must be good. I will give it a go.

  • Cream Cheese? I dissaprove ಠ__ಠ

  • That looks fucking disgusting.

  • Hi! Do you have to put Pimento or is there a substitute for it?

  • I don't know? there is a lot going on in this recipe and I can't figure out what it's going to taste like. There is also too much sugar and fat in it for me. I still love your show. keep up the good work.

  • this sounds much more like a pudding then a salad...

  • This is the weirdest recipe i have ever seen, but out of curiosity I tried it and it was pretty good

  • @staind687 I would not lie on the show. It is very good and has veggies. LOL

  • Hey Jack ! I have tried a few of Aunt Merna's recipes. My favorite is the Strings and Pegs. So i trust that this will be delicious just like all the other ones i have tried. Thank you so much for putting these vids up!

  • @kbrewer1000 thanks. I promise you will like it.

  • why so many dislikes ?! `o'

  • @KamenBeyblader362 because there is celery and bell pepper mixed with whip cream and jello. No one can imaging the flavor, yet it taste amazing.

  • Ok , somebody plz tell me,, is that a salad or a Dessert? Sorry but i think its looking so disgusting,, well i dont think i have the guts to try something like this

  • Damn aunt Mirna is off the fuckin hook.

  • @knucklez2 yes, she is. wait until her raisin pie. LOL

  • I always love the bloopers lolllll

  • p.s. I love infomercials and while your recipes are awesome the product reviews are by far the best you are great at reviewing these usless culinary gadgets

  • Couple things Jack. First when she said you know what time it is I was really hoping she said its time for the percolator but I digress. Your channel is AMAZING and I am only in high school so your channel is certainly not for a specific demographic. Your philosophy is amazing because you really never are to young or old to be in the kitchen. But seriously stop making videos I have an AP English paper due soon and I am too addicted to watching you and your kitchen antics. jk <3 the vids u rock

  • @TheOverCompensator good luck on the AP Engilsh. I hated my AP classes. So much work and the AP never helped me later in life. I could have done regular english and skated with an "A"

let me know how you do your paper.:D

  • no offence, but thats what my shit looks like after eating a few burritos

  • @MrRombert offense taken.

  • jack what kinds of nuts you put

  • @doggonegirl12345 I used walnuts but any kind will do.

  • That looks fucking disgusting...

  • can you make a apple crisp plz and ty

  • hey jack ... i was wondering ... can you make a review of this product "the best sauce you'll ever taste" ? lol

  • @corbox good one.

  • @jakatak69 seriously, i love your show, it's fun, and you make cooking really easy and interesting ... btw. i am northern african (algerian exactely) and i wonder if you can make an algerian dish ... i can send u the receipe if you want :)

    good luck with this show

    take care !

    walid

  • ummm wheres the salad?

  • @marcussurfer where is the cocktail in fruit cocktail?

  • I'm not usually big on veggies but this looks good to eat. One question though. I saw you open the canned pineapple by hand and used packaged chopped nuts. Why not use the Slap Chop to make your own cheap mined nuts and that multi-opener that you showed not long ago or are you not allowed to because of contracts or something?

  • @Viguy43 you can use fresher ingredients. I have to take shortcuts because I am constantly filming, editing and cooking all by myself. So producing each show is an 8 hour job per episode.

  • Jack the portions you are using are ridiculous. I don't wanna tell you what to do but considering you we're in the hospital months ago....Did you here what happened to Paula Deen, I don't wanna see that happen to you. Just a heads up.

  • @daniel151994 I give most of my dessert episodes away to friends and family. healthy dishes I serve the family for dinner. I am not a dessert guy at all. I never order dessert. I usually have a sugar free pudding cup for dessert at home.

  • @daniel151994 this is not going to do your blood pressure any good i dont think.

  • This is something ONLY Americans would make, and I'm from America. And btw just because it tastes good it doesn't mean that it is good! Mickey d's is a good example.

  • Hey Jack, could you film another episode with Junior? I really liked his Alfredo Fettucini episode (and recipe for that matter).

Thanks for all the great content :)

  • @BassmrDK maybe this summer. He's got school, basketball and xbox 360 keeping him busy right now. :D

  • @jakatak69 Well awesome Jak! Cool hobbies - I guess I may see Junior this summer perhaps? Anyways love the show, keep up the great work!

  • Actually, Jack, Cool Whip is as close to real whipped cream as Apollo 18 was to being a good movie (killer hermit crabs, really?) I just read the label at the store last week. It doesn't matter what brand you get, the first 2 ingredients are oil and water. You're right, though about using store brand cool whip to make salads and stuff. It gets runny.

  • @fall22123 damn. thanks for ruining the movie Apollo 18. I just rented it. LOL j/k

  • @jakatak69 so funny

  • @fall22123 HEY. Apollo 18 was a fantastic movie what are you talking about..

  • @iEATcookiies you're probably thinking of Apollo 13 with Tom Hanks...that was a good movie.

  • @fall22123 I was actually being sarcastic in my comment.. Apollo 18 was shit.

  • "make sure to use real whip cream"

    pules out the cool whip

    ....

  • @nabrasse pulls*

  • @nabrasse pulls*

  • NOW i know he is faking it when he tastes

  • @Crimss10 dude. I at this in Alabama and loved it. Why would I knowingly bring a recipe from the other side of the country and do it on my show knowing I hate it.

  • @jakatak69 it was just a joke :D i am actually planning to try this out myself sometime ^^

  • @Scheefinator *spelled

  • lolol You're too cute when you say "hmmmm" and "Awww it's so good" lolol... Honestly it doesn't look good at all, though I have to admit that after seeing you sway from side to side and your face beaming like that, it makes me wanna try this recipe! lolol... I don't know if I'd be able to find American Cheese here in Montreal (Canada)...

  • @mylieblue Look for "processed cheese slices." That's probably what it's called (or close to it) elsewhere.

  • @LisaBaby67 Thank you!!! :) Both those yesterday lol Didn't know it's called American Cheese! :) Thank you so much for the info!!! :)))

  • @mylieblue It's just that processed yellow cheese that comes individually wrapped that people put in grilled cheese and hamburgers.

  • @mylieblue use a mild cheese or no cheese. try it. You will like it.

  • that would go really well with some doritos consomme.

  • All it needs is some chocolate chips and jalapeno peppers. :)

  • This is so interesting. Not sure I could bring myself to make or eat something this strange ( for me) but I enjoyed watching. It certainly is unique in my books. Keep up the fun videos, love em

  • Jack this recipe looks awesome. I like how you used that Coolh Hwhip

  • no offense, but how did she come up with this recipe? very interesting

  • @808foodlover Not sure. These are all old recipes made in Alabama. You have to try it.

  • Anyone else pronounced Cool Whip like Stewie?

  • question: for those of us not in america, what does american cheese taste like compared to cheddar? I have never seen american cheese in the supermarkets in Scotland and I have no clue what to substitute it for.

  • @sacraficialangel7 use a mild cheddar cheese. American cheese is a mild cheese that is most similar to a mild cheddar or colby. It melts easily and is often cheap and processed. You're not missing anything by not having it. It is definitely the lowest common denominator when it comes to cheese, and is often lacking in flavor and just feels cheap in texture and flavor.

  • @sacraficialangel7 its pretty terrible and processed, localy made cheese will be better

  • @sacraficialangel7 it's a very bland yellow cheese. Nothing strong about it. Almost like Velveeta cheese.

  • @jakatak69 yes i want asking this ,it solves my question

  • @jakatak69

Could this be made with a strong cheddar cheese? as myself i hate the taste of mild cheese.

  • @sacraficialangel7 It is very bland, foul tasting cheese. I don't know why people eat it when nobody likes it. Probably the same reason we put high fructose corn syrup in foods instead of sugar, it is cheaper. Just use mild cheddar. The only good thing about American cheese is it doesn't get oily when you melt it like cheddar.

  • @sacraficialangel7 It's also too salty. I don't like it.

  • so basically, you're making salad cheesecake...

  • Cool whip isn't real cream.... And also, it's a recipe for old people. xD

  • That intro with Aunt Myrna is just lovely!

  • Just to let you know jack, cool whip is artificial. It's whipped oil. Not whipped cream.

  • did i just get Punk'D`??

  • That looks good (minus the obvious). I bet it would be good with a can of drained fruit instead of the veggies. There is nothing you can say to convince me I won't taste the pepper and pimentos. Cheese, interestingly enough, is good in desserts. Taco John's (fast-food Mexican restaurant) has the Apple Grande, which is a fried tortilla with sugar, cinnamon, apples, and cheese on top. It is really good.

  • its just a recipe... some will like it others dont.. there is no need for name calling like 'stupid' and other negative comments.. well done for all the delicious cooking jack... i wont try this because i dont like pineapples :((

  • I think it went wrong with *American* cheese....

  • Why is it jakatak69 XD

  • I would love to see what ur son really thought of it.

  • this is like something a homeless person would make with half empty cans they find on the street, and they still probably wouldnt eat it

  • I wonder what the vegetables add to this dish. It seems like it could be a pretty good dessert if it didn't have the veggies in there.

  • Dear Jack. I have seen more or less of the ingreadents in froms of cheese cake, The geletin from both the cool whip and and the lemon line jello in what they call no bake cheese cake, I enjoy the idead of using outside ways of sweeting an item from the suryp from the pineapples and the coolwhip. if you want I have a neat one flan but not flan. just call it dessert custerd.

  • how des this look like puke? it looks like a gud dessert...

  • what a unique recipe!

  • American "cuisine"

  • O,O

  • Seems like something a pregnant lady would concoct because she somehow thought it sounded good.

  • Comment removed

  • That was quite an interesting recipe! Thanks for sharing :)

  • p.s. dont like the recipe but love aunt myrna!

  • Haha these ignorant people! I'm from Alabama and there isnt anything unusual about this! I've had it before, and I like it. It was a little different than this, though, but still...open your minds (and your taste buds) people!

  • so if you dont like it you dont have taste? lol; This does not seem appealing at all and I wont try it but I'm glad you like it!

  • Great man...Thanks for sharing!

  • Are you you sure this isn't one of those videos where...It was the end of the week, you didn't have any idea what to make, and you just went into your cupboard to find out what was close to its Use by Date?

  • Why is everyone saying this would be disgusting? He is standing there eating it and telling us how delicious it is.

The ingredients don't make sense but the jelly and pineapple probably overwhelm everything and I don't see how it could taste disgusting.

    I would try it, definitely.

    Thanks Jack.

  • @absolutt so in your mind if Jack likes it then we all should like it. I know some people that like fruit cake, so everyone should like it?

lol; these comments sometimes are funny.

  • @jpm4444 who like fruit cake?

  • @absolutt thanks. I would have said it was okay. I even knew what it would taste like before I made it. So this wasn't an experiment. it is delicious.

  • i actually really want to try this

  • I come from new zealand and i dont know what a pimento is :L could you suggest alternatives?

  • @radiculousraneem you are on the internet arent you look it up see what they are

  • @radiculousraneem It's a chili pepper. Very very mild and fairly sweet. You could put some kiwi fruit in yours :P

  • sorry jack does not look good for me!! >.<

  • i do think this a pretty strange recipe, but im not completely against trying it. just a little more explanation on how/when to eat it? just on its own? it looks like it should be kept warm and served as a dip

  • @colleenemayer cold. chilled and for a pot luck. It has a dessert taste. like fruit cocktail salad at a pot luck

  • Just ignore those turds Jack! I love your video's. Keep them coming. I will make this~!

  • dnt want to be mean or nothing but this looks really bad

  • Probably one of the most revolting video recipes I've seen in a while. Surely "your" just trolling us, Jack?

  • @BegrebetAngest LOL. I knew what it tasted like before I made it. You guys crack me up.

  • This looks ... interesting. But honestly, Jack, you seem to like it; but is it so good that you're actually going to eat this over nachos, cake and other stuff this could be replaced with? I mean, sure, you did this for the show, but do you see yourself making this for your family on a regular basis even when we're not watching? Loved the video though

  • Those random ingredients look like something from the show "Chopped". XD

  • I never thought I'd see those ingredients together! Hahahaha I want to try this though. Very interesting. =)

  • What's pimento?

  • I don't understand why people say it looks like puke ... to me it looks like a giant omelette with cheese.

  • This is a very unusual salad with possibly some of the weirdest ingredients ever to come together, but somehow you and her made it all work out. I'm not a fan of what we Americans call "American" cheese, so I might have to pass on this :D

  • Do you know of anything that this dishes flavor can be compared with?

  • Do you taste the peppers and celery (because normally they have rather strong flavors)? Might be a good way to sneak vegetables into my nephew's diet. :)

  • Hey Jack what can I use instead of jello because we don't have jello in the U.K

  • This looks so gross, but yet I want to try it lol Have a feeling its probably very good. I might give this one a try....

  • This seems like one of those crazy recipees that you have to try to believe... kind of like those wierd dishes you don't want to try at a church potluck, but when you do, you have this secret knowledge of an awesome dish no one else will touch and it's all yours!!!

Any suggestions for what you could use instead of peppers? I have a gag reflex to this vegetable.

  • Isn't cool whip already imitation whipped cream?

  • Wow, sorry Jack... I wanna trust you and Aunt Myrna, but this looked like puke :O

  • Oh my goodness we have that EVERY holiday. We use a little evaporated milk, it makes the jello more opaque and less clear. Jack very cool, glad you added this recipe. Aunt Myrna rocks for real!!!

  • coolSCHwhip!

  • I love all the negative comment in here..

    Why?

Well.. becouse they are kinda Ignorant.. just becouse they can't/dare to try, does not mean it is automaticly disgusting.. ..

I wont try this though, as I don't like Pineapple :)

  • @fickminne the negative comments are from people posting their comment from McDonald's drive thru line.

  • @jakatak69 lmfaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • @fickminne you mean you want to turn a blind eye to the negative side; without it the positive comments are just kiss ass.

  • @theoneelf No.. but as long as they dont wanna try, they can't say anything valid about it..

  • @fickminne because*

  • Sounded and looked disgusting ): sorry Jak, not making this but good video anyway.

  • this is the most disgusting recipe i've ever seen

  • thumps up for the awesome aunt myrna

  • im not convinced!

  • Jack, normally I'm with ya all the way on your recipes, but that just looks disgusting. I bet it tastes awesome though... LOL, have fun with that!

  • ...that's not american cheese

  • @jessehenandez american cheese was bought in a chunk and I shredded it myself. why do you think it's not american cheese?

  • Reminds me more of Aunt Bethany's lime jello of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

btw, aunt Bethany was played by Mae Questel aka Olive Oyl and Betty Boop from the 1930s."Aunt Bethany wrapped the dam cat"!

  • PS: Cousin Eddy (aka Randy Quaid) woudl like it!

"That's real good eatin Clark" [click] -or- "I don't know why they call this stuff Hamburger Helper, it does just fine by itself. I like Tuna Helper myself"!

    watch?v=1EpCvdHDrQk

  • that looks soooooo gross!

  • Keep 'em coming Jak

  • Americans.

  • What in the world is American cheese? I want to make this, but I am Canadian... Is it just cheddar?

  • @SphinCorp Simular to Kraft Velveeta fake cheeze.

  • @SphinCorp Yea, pretty much. It's like an extra mild version of mild cheddar. Kind of like how "Canadian Bacon" to us is just "Ham" to you, LOL.

  • @Rocky1115 So THAT'S what Canadian bacon is... The only American food I've ever had was a hot dog. It was the best hot dog ever.

  • @SphinCorp It's not the same as cheddar cheese, but I don't see why you couldn't make the switch.

  • @SphinCorp no. It's a mellow cheese. You can try a cheddar but do not use sharp cheddar.

  • @SphinCorp I had to google it. Apparently it's super processed cheese. Someone said its craft cheese singles (but I guess it comes in other forms) and tastes like hard cheese whiz. :/

  • @SphinCorp yes, it's cheddar

  • Just because the dip is not aesthetically pleasing and the ingredients look like don't go together, does not automatically mean the dip is not tasty. I haven't made this but I have a feeling that because of the pineapple, it won't be as rich like regular cream cheese based dips. Will try this once I get the ingredients this weekend.

  • @azntranc3951 It truly taste great. I can't get past the ingredients myself, but the taste is completely different from the look.

  • This is the time when my nephew wished he didn't tell me he's allergic to cheese whilst his sister's enjoying it!

  • has the yello sweet or sugarfree ?

  • @obsidianwing I used regular jello, but I believe the sugar free would work too.

  • I kind of want to try it, but I just don't think I'm adventurous enough!

  • Its "cool hwip".
