Now that they deleted Seamus' scene, it looks like one of Neville's spells hit the bridge's foundations by accident! And also, there's not enough of Seamus in the films, they barely touch upon him disbelieving that Voldemort is back in OOTP, and that's probably one of the bits where his character features more often than usual.

People can't really relate to Snape, and his circumstances. A single Slytherin shown to be heroic (a single, adult Slytherin whose main motivation for being a good person was obsession with the "girl that got away") doesn't really do anything to dampen the stereotype we were shown through 6 1/2 books.

@B1aDK If I remember correctly, it wasn't her they wanted, it was her father. Luna's father gave up the Trio's whereabouts to get Luna back. I think Luna was a pureblood, so she would have been in no danger going back to Hogwarts. Well, in no danger of getting captured.

@B1aDK They took Luna to show her father what happens when you rebel against Voldemort. What they wanted first and foremost was for him to stop printing Quibbler issues that were in favor of Harry. Luna would have been captured outside Malfoy's home because they'd be pissed a prisoner was getting away. However, taking her from Hogwarts would be a waste of resources. There was no reason for them to want Luna; her father had complied and she wasn't muggle born.
