  • Ah Oman, I prefer it over the whole of Europe as a Dutch person. Lived there over 8 years. What a great place it is, and the locals are so friendly indeed. A place everyone should visit.

  • @21tracks2life lol..this is the first time i've ever seen a Dutch liked something Arabic. i thought u people love wilders.

  • @Moods921 I know many people voted for Wilders... they just have a low IQ and are easily manipulated. Just because one person likes Wilders, doesn't mean that all of the Dutch people like him. That's hasty generalization. Plus I wish he got locked up behind bars, because he freaks me out and also has said things that should have been kept to his own fucked up mind. I love a lot of Arabic things, that's why I constantly keep coming back to Oman. Love the place, the people, the culture etc

  • @21tracks2life hmm i guess so.

  • @21tracks2life by all means man plz dont come to Oman. ur already have betrayed ur ppl by going to a Muslim country. Wilders have the right to murder any non European minority in the Netherlands since that it's his country not mine. plz do me a favor about never ever coming to Oman again and stay in the Netherlands with ur ppl. dont say " ah well these ppl have low IQ" because Racism is part of the western culture. u need to be racist in order to preserve the White race.

  • @Moods921 ... point 1: Im a girl. Point 2: betrayed? Is that what we should say to the muslims coming into holland as well? :P That's an aweful thing to say, or think. I'm not even fully dutch, I'm half australian.. but yeah. There are people who think as extreme as wilders yes, but again... that doesn't mean all people are like that.. Don't judge someone before you know someone. Wilders doesn't have any right to murder anyone, nor does any other human being have the right to kill another.

  • @Moods921 And another thing, I have my parents living in Oman... So not coming back to that place, is not an option. And yes I'm sorry dude, but some dutch people do have a low IQ... and are easily manipulated. Why otherwise do you think Wilders his party got chosen to the rule the country as well? I didn't vote for him. Plus not to be a jerk... you find racism everywhere around the world.. whether your from tokyo or Saudi.. Up to us to stand above it, to make it somewhat of a better place.

  • @21tracks2life some? more like a lot of Dutch if u ask me. and yes not ALL dutch are like him but most do. Racism is extremely high in Europe(the highest in the world) with all the Neo Nazi and far right propaganda against minorities so yeah. Thankfully many Arabs are returning home since they know how dangerous Europe has become. Your parents must go back to Europe since that Wilders and Don Black are crying by saying " plz come home!!". Its the truth that cannot be discarded.

  • @Moods921 Man, Wilders really got to u, maybe u should spend some less time on him, you sound exactly like him now. With your " go back to Europe". Dude are you even from Oman yourself? You don;t sound it at all. Because Omani people are nice and welcoming, and you're just rotten to your core filled with so much hate. I feel sorry for you that you've never met a nice western person, that's 2 bad. FYI people aren't perfect. Everyone has their flaws, but have some faith that there's sum good left

  • @21tracks2life yeah so what if i sound like him? is that a problem? as they say in the old days " fight fire with fire". Omani ppl are friendly and kind but then u Europeans will start causing disorder in Oman and u will start slithering ur fangs. We Arabs wlll preserve our Semitic heritage and traditions with ur evil racism. as a matter of fact racism is something that whites practiced till today since the beginning of time. ur not welcome in our lands and neither Wilders should as well.

  • @Moods921 I get where you're coming from though, the news does show us a lot on the television don't they? Same thing about the arab countries... America being afraid of terrorism etc.. You can either fall for most of the media their crap, or you can actually go to a country and see what people are like for yourself. Over the many years that Europeans have been in Oman, no harm has been done to the country. A country cannot run without tourism, don't forget that.

  • @Moods921 You're obviously not omani, so you cant demand me to stay away. That isn't you're right. But I'll do you a favor, I won't come to morroco :) So now you hate all dutch... because of one guy who opened his mouth... man... So it doesn't matter when I say that I'm embarresed of holland because of him? :P I've never said a racist thing in my life love, I've been brought up differently. Neither do I discriminate. I actually care for every human being, and try to put myself in their shoes.

  • @21tracks2life We Arabs and Semites hate Europeans and Europeans hates us and it should be kept this way. Omanis are welcoming to everybody EXCEPT urs ok? thank god thats many Muslims from Morocco are returning back to their homeland since they know the dangers of Holland and the rest of Europe. plz go back home and after u do that plz tell the Europeans to isolate themselves from mankind. Europeans should go only to European lands and nothing else.

  • @Moods921 I never hated the arabs :P And I'm half european. Are you so angry at the dutch, because they deported you out or something? I can't help that, I'd love to shape the perfect world for you, where we can all live in peace... so don't take it out at me... if you wanna make a difference come to holland and start preaching. Don't go commenting on here and taking it out on me. I'm not gonna tell shit for you, go tell 'm urself. Not all arabs hate us, that's a false statement. Go to school.

  • Lovely video, & an amazing place. It was from here that become Sa'id ibn Sultan first ruled both Oman & Zanzibar from 1804. Zanzibar later became the Sultanate of Zanzibar, which ended on 12 January 1964, with the violent overthrow of Sultan Jamshid bin Abdullah. Muscat (& Oman) have such history, and this place is worth visiting! I am an East African Mzungu, & I hope my Swahili will be useful when I go there!?

  • Never thought Muscat to be so beautiful. I have heard a lot of really great things about Oman too. I have an exceptionally nice friend from Oman too. InshaAllah I will go there one day. Greetings from Uzbekistan!

  • i would love to go to oman and work there..do they have cinemas and malls? im here in doha, qatar now..

  • Oman is a nice place...

  • I went to Oman when I was 9, in 2000. I got lost, and a random person on the street asked if I was ok, took me to a local hotel, bought me a Coke and contacted my parents for me. He refused any thanks from my Dad as well haha, not even paying back the cost of the drink. I only have great memories of the Omani people, I really hope I can visit again!

  • @Lagwagon555 im realy happy with ur comments ^^

and u r welcom to visit oman anytime ^^!!

  • @Lagwagon555 if I tell you that's the true Islam , would you believe me ?

The reason he refused to get his money back for the drink is, he gets more blessing from his creator.. (Allah, God).. I am glad it was happy ending and you were safe...

  • Is city ki shahezadi ka naam aqsa hai he s very very gud girl.

  • عمان أنت روحي

  • Yes I agree with others here; nice video for Oman. I was doing travel research on Oman and Muscat city. A colleague has lived in Oman and always mentions how nice was her time there. It sounds like a " best kept secret" destination. Hope I get there one day, too. Hello Omani people!

  • Looks like a beautiful country. I would love to visit the Middle East one day.

  • So, from my understanding...US citizens can get a VISA on arrival at the airport in Muscat? You don't need a visa before you enter the country? If that's the case, my first visit to the middle east will be there.

  • Dubai is in the UAE...

  • fuck you have you ever been there? levae the omanis alone they are the most polite people on the planet! the only reason indians do alot over there is because they are offered better jobs than they can get back home.

  • agreed omani people r the best they alloways mack people smile and happy :)

  • yes i have been there!

your right,, the people are some of the friendliest in the world.

only most people there are indians,, very polite, hospitable, and other being ungawdly hot,, a fantastic place to see

  • Thanks for this wonderful video. Brought back many memories. Oman is a wonderful place with wonderful people.

  • Oman!!!

  • Oman Rocks! Lived there for awhile and the people are down-to-Earth and just really accomodating and cool!

  • Love Oman. The people are wonderful as well. Nicest people in the Middle East in my view. Highly polite and friendly!

  • @HizbElKhabatha Why can't the whole middle east be like this?

  • @HizbElKhabatha nice Arabs indeed

  • I have had a good time there...been 2 months there and I like it... it's little hot, but much colder than Dubai...

  • Beautiful photo essay

  • yeah the best thing its not too hot like Dubai, the average summer temprature is around 30 and the winter around 20

  • Oman is not a bad place but there is no reason to lie about the weather. Muscat is arguably the hottest city in the world. Oman is hot. You must be talking about Salalah. I spent a month in Oman that did not drop below 50C for a high and one day it hit 55C. Oman is a great place but it is hot. Very hot. Hotter than Dubai just up the road.

  • i said oman not Muscat, i know Muscat is really hot. The mountain areas of Oman have amazing weather

  • Well in summer it is pretty much hot but still less than Dubai. I lived in both of them and you can easily tell the difference. Anyway both of them have very hot summers, still Muscat has a bit less humidity

  • I agree that Oman is hot but comparing it to Dubai NO WAY! Dubai is full of pollution, buildings, traffic jams, lots lots of road and building workings!

All these are rarley seen in Oman, the weather in Oman is very natural, fresh and clean! unlike the buildings and cars in Dubai which makes the weather way hotter and unclean air!!

I was in Muscat this January(winter), and went to Dubai for 1 day, comparing to Muscat the weather was somehow very annoying in Dubai!!

  • beautiful video of my home town, thank you!.. Can't wait to get back to crusing around in my STi..lol...if u wanna see more of oman check out my vids.. ;)

  • This is so incredibly beautiful. Eventhough people in the west tend to think of middle east as an opressed place, i have never felt so free in my life as in the years that i worked and lived in Oman.

I like to extent my gratitude to the people of Oman and for them beeing so open and nice and therefore making my stay so incredible

  • ya. Oman is incredible!

  • better than fucking sharm elsheikh

  • I miss Al Bhustan Oman the most luxuriuos hotel i've ever been.

Great people, beaches, food. The Sultan has been brill and kind and to his people.Love to visit/can't afford it!I used to go into the outback of Seeb on my trials bike with friends and play football with the local kids-they Loved it! It was a trully romantic place. It's as green as Ireland to the south! Good health to HM Sultan Qaboos.

  • I can't wait, I am going to be in Muscat in a weeks time from now. I am leaving for Mumbai, India tomorrow morning. From there I spend a week in India, traveling and seeing most of the major cities. Then it's off to Oman, this place looks beautiful. I've always wanted to go and finally I will get to see it in person! Then after a week at Muscat I go to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates for a week. Then back home to Australia, :) It's gonna be so great!

  • You are welcome to Oman any time buddy...

  • i lived there for a couple of years. my dad worked out there. oman is one of the most wonderful beautiful places on Earth, best place i have been to yet. I lived on military base, if you had no access to that then im not sure if i'd like it or not, maybe slightly boring but truly amazing place. people, culture, landscape, oman has it all.

  • Asalaamu alaikum,

I lived in Muscat for four years, and really it's a very fine country. The people, the fascilities, the economy, government... all are great and tolerant of foreigners. Part of how I was able to become Muslim was by the example I saw in Oman, Alhamdulilah. May Allah SWT continue to guide and bless Oman's fine Sultan, and all people therein.

    WaSalaam

  • if you were to choose between Dubai, Kuwait and Muscat, would u stil choose Oman and why? in terms of openning a shop and to be honest an internet shop with pc services. I appreciate your answer, thank you.

  • i lived there for 17 yrs. its quiet, peaceful and am definitely going back sometime.

  • Very pretty....Will they give me a visa?

  • Oman is not fussy about Visa at all ,, sometimes you can go to the airport and there where you can get the Visa.. Welcome anytime buddy..

  • welcome any time,, Oman is not fussy about VISA ,, they can issue it for you right away in the airport..

  • hellborn.....then go back home SIMON!! i'm sure you know where that quote came from....open yer history books, 1947.....remember??

  • Face it... Muscat is ranked high and cleanliness and orderliness and is the Monacco of the East... Go back to your freezing England

  • I lived in England for a while and didn't like it much, ..AMERICA OWNS :)

  • I was born and lived in UK 24 years, went to Oman for weeks, alone and couldnt speak arabic with £1000 worth of electrics made many friends and loved it. BEST COUNTRY AND BEST PEOPLE ON EARTH

  • beautiful pictures.very nice music.i like it:)

  • We drove from Abu Dhabi to Muscat a few years ago. What a blast that was! Took in the sites, at at Trader Vic's, and went Scuba Diving, which was the best part of the trip, fantastic sealife. Jeff V.

  • Nice one!

  • This film gives you a really good overview of some of the main sights of Oman's capital city, beautiful photos.
