Dude, it's only a game...but you are right! A terrorist faction was formed right under their nose with weapons of mass destruction, but they go nuts over 1 plane...lol!
@Thriced2286 Khruschev couldn't do anything about Volgin; Attacking his own countrymen would remove him from power, and he would be seen as a traitor to Russia. Also, the second time Snake was inserted into Russia, FOX used what's called an SR-71 Blackbird. They fly into the stratosphere of the earth and are undetectable.
@Thriced2286 Well, if you look at what happened to Khrushchev in real life, he was overthrown in an internal power struggle when military hardliners were dissatisfied with his not "standing up to" the US, and replaced by a hardliner, Brezhnev. This game is set during said coup with the fictional Volgin as one of Brezhnev's partisans. Khrushchev is on the verge of falling, if he tried to take action against his military, he would be overthrown (as he in fact was).
Uh oh, the Americans are in trouble now, so does FOX Unit aswell lol
