I dont get this game. I'm not a big gamer so forgive if I sound like an idiot. I see tons of videos were the graphics look amazing in them but then they say its rendered. So the game doesn't look like this when your playing it? is this like a recording rendered out to look amazing?

@nacionalistamexicano Your graphics card dude, go for at least a 1gb one, maybe a better cpu but 3.16ghz will handle it, anyway go for a hd 5850 or a 5870.

Sure, the red doesn't make it look realistic but i think it makes the enviroments better because it gives the enviroment more of a stylized look.

lol, typical AGAIN! I was literally just watching a video where he raised bloom, darkened shadows and made everything look blue-ish, and now you've done the EXACT SAME THING but made everything look red!

What's wrong with you all? try looking outside and then say that this is more realistic than even vanilla crysis for example.

haha lol srry about my stupid comment XD lol. and really the radeon hd 4830 is sopposed to ru nbetter than a 9800 but well i havnt done any benchmarks for awhile lol. the 4870 is a pretty good card, but i doubt that it will run as good for crysis like a Gtx card. Crysis really was specifically made to run a little better with nvidia cards.. haha right nwo i have a 4870 in crossfire :3 woot

you are full of shit. I can run 1 4870 on max with 60 frames average and 94 top. and a 9800 would be lucky to run crysis at all. a gtx 260 can run it at 53 frames and usually maxes out at 60-70 frames. and my dual 4870's run it in 80+ average. so please just STFU because you look are just look like an idiot when you talk about something you have no knowledge of.

i ran this game on an intel core 2 and 2 7600gt oc, they are really rubbish gpus but i could run the game on 1024x900 resolution with about 30fps which is just about playable.

lol.. fluid is between 18 and 26.. more is perfectly smooth.. just good cards, sli or crossfire configs can reach smooth levels in crysis

with a 4870 you'll get about 20 fps which is more than playable. :)

Its just I've heard a lot of people complaining that Crysis is running under 80fps on their system, maybe if they wait 4 years that'll be a possibility. Also I heard people saying cod4 has better graphics than Crysis, what a joke =D

yea, farcry 1 still looks great at maxed settings. Those first few levels with the jungle and everything, I could play that even today and the graphics would look amazing to me :).....although of course, Crysis pwns. But FarCry has a nice tropical feel to it, especially in that teal-calm water, it's like an escape to a paradise.
