Hey, I enjoy reviews alot man, especially this 1. Butt, do you think you could tell me what color "Wayne's Customs" used for the Junkyard version, I'm wanting to do the same thing, but I can;t figure out what color to use on it. Thnx.
Well, you're awesome! And that was awesome! Well, uh, except for one thing- I'm a teacher and I thought your English was pretty good, but you wouldn tell that guy where you were from. He thought NY....I thought, south Philly....or Jersey. Would that be south Boston? Well, I'm sorry...we speak the best English here in the Midwest.... we speak like all the people on your TV
Great work on the cars. It was one of my favorite movies, next to American Graffiti..Christine was one wicked car! If anyone has not seen the movie, it is a must see. Keeps you in suspense all the way and makes you afraid of cars for a while!
The car was presented in the book and movie storyline wise as a Fury but the movie producers used some Belvederes dressed to look like Furys for the sake of having enough movie cars. They also used cars from 1958 as well as 1957. But yea, for all intents and purposes, she was a '58 Fury.
Awesome review mate, I want this collectible SO bad but it's $56 on eBay. I only have $33 left because i took a flight to New York by myself my money. And I also am bought a car for 2 years later when i get my license. And this movie was awesome! great review 10/10
I love the movie as well...I just watched it yesterday...No the lights dont work on the busted one..Its not even the same company who made the real version...
You can buy the real Christine model with movie box..The busted up one was just a diecast model of that kind of car & we just made it the best we can movie accurate..Thanx man...
Nice work on your video and nerration and a great modeling job. I wonder if you are from Queens? My Hoosier accent is on YouTube in my 1954 Howe Football clips. I am trying to paint (on canves) a rusty old early '50s Buick from picture taken at night in a junk yard. My inspiration was from the Christine movie, and the photo found on the net..
just watched the review again after seeing you had replied to my comment and spotted my christine I purchased had the aerial missing , thought oh bummer , shook the box too see if it came loose in transit to no avail then was looking in all nooks and crannies when i spied it taped to the inside of the box.:) happy again its complete.
Yea, Christine is great. I like such movie toys. It´s a dream of me to buy one day a well-preserved Plymouth in white and red , in which I can drive along the roads! ;-)))
right now on ebay its fetching $150 with 4 days left - Ive been wanting a cool lil replica of Christine and the Ertl model is definitely an affordable option.
On a side note I think your busted up Christine could fetch some very nice bids as well - if both were sold in a set Id be on em like a bum on a boloney sandwhich!
great stuff,i thought i read that it plays songs from the movie on a radio, does it not.gonna get it anyway.ive always liked christine, book and movie.
excellent model,i only saw christine once in the 80's,i remember the harlem nocturne theme when she was coming to life, must see it again sometime soon.
Sweet. "Christine" is one of my favorite movies as well. That and "Stand By Me" are my favorite King movies. I've said for years the one thing I want is a 1958 Plymouth Fury.
Thanx man, you can buy the fixed up one on ebay still, I THINK!!! The busted up version my friend made by taking a normal one & breaking it all up the best he could by movie..
Not as good as a 1977 Black Trans Am just like in the 1st Smokey & the Bandit, I love that car since i was a kid.. I would sell all my horror stuff just to get my hands on one!!! Too much money for those, in good condition over 25,000 now, I dont make that kind of money.. :(
