Today is the day the world lost its shining star!! I stumbled across this tribute and I think it's beautiful! I'm a little younger, I'm also from the Detroit area. I can remember being a kid and watching the Bad video, its been a year and I'm still at a loss. He was my childhood hero. Even as a kid I knew Man in the Mirror was a great and meaningful song...it's always gave me goosebumps, still does!! Thank you for the tribute, it brings tears to my eyes!!! The memorial service held yesterday at the Staples Center was phenominal. Every speech, performance and chant really touched everyone, and if it didn't, there is no God. During the last performance I was waiting for Michael to come onto the stage and leave everybody in astonishment and shock leaving this whole nightmare as just a hoax to get the world at a pause for a few days.
