i mean, they are right in saying that you do slow down sometimes because of the double bass, but i think the more you practice, itll just get more natural :D

And as for the improvising, its way better if you can add little bits into a song, rather than just sticking to the exact studio version, it shows ya relly know what ur doin.

yeah like you said sloppy in some spots and missed a few details. but as for the people hatin on the double kick its supposed to be a cover not an exact duplicate so i say that you should be open to customize it however you want. i mean the real drummer always changes it a little on stage and doesnt always play it the same so theres no *perfect* way of playing it.
