Good video - now my knot looks much neater - I also learnt to tie the stopper with the loose end though.

I'd recommend adding a stopper knot to the figure of eight to rid of the excess rope without having the rope end being too close to the figure of eight. The whole point is to avoid any dangling ropes which can become trip / trap hazards, getting caught in other equipment and what not.

i want to say thanks, i had my beginners course today at the gym and they were doing it some twist two times, after i got confused.. i remembered watching this and i got it right away.
