@TheGanjadawg It does not hurt to have a good knowledge of piano first, However I never played any thing nor did I read music I just jumped in. It was hard to find a teacher who would teach organ without piano first.

what a beautiful sound, many organist search their whole lives to get exactly that sound. i have heard hundreds of hammonds through leslies but, they don't sound like that. i have a (nord C2 & a leslie 822) can you give me any advise about settings.

@rikshaw223 The settings are mentioned earlier! (see below) It's also the way I recorded the organ!! (two condensermic's carefully placed by the Leslie at 180°) Further I see that my organ is in perfect shape....a lot of work sometimes;-)

@facunacho97 It's no effect; it's a programmed beat in Logic pro 8. Not very good I have to admit...but it's about the organ which has no rhythm unit at all. (Organ is very old: about '65 I think)

The drawbars: normal Hammond-settings; like 00 8880 000 or 88 8000 000 and 00 88000 exept for the most important setting of the Upper: 65 4000 005 (Intro-setting)
